Show Notes

Purpose is not discovered by accident, but revealed through surrender, obedience, and intimacy with God. This message calls believers to stop living on the edge of God’s will and step fully into what Heaven has already prepared. Through Scripture and practical insight, the tension between comfort and calling is confronted, challenging hearts to align with God’s agenda over personal preference. This is an invitation to live with eternal perspective, respond to the voice of God, and move decisively into Kingdom purpose.

[00:00:00] Welcome to the World Changers Church Gold Coast Podcast. Join us as we listen to today's message. [00:00:06] Amen. Let's pray. Heavenly Father. [00:00:09] Lord, we come before you this morning, Lord, just humble in heart, Lord, just grateful. [00:00:14] Grateful for you, grateful for your love. [00:00:16] Grateful that we can gather together, Lord God. Grateful for the person next to us, Grateful for your Holy Spirit, Lord God. [00:00:24] And Father, I just pray this morning, Lord God, as you use me to deliver this word, Lord God, that they don't hear me, they don't see me, but they encounter you, that your love would touch their heart. [00:00:36] That your word would penetrate through the marrow, through the bone, Lord God, straight to the soul to divide it between who you say they are in spirit, Father God, I rebuke the enemy's voice from this room, Father, I silence him. Now we command him out in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord God, so that we can hear your spirit, Lord God, discern your voice. [00:01:01] Lord, you call us your sheep. [00:01:03] You're our shepherd, Lord God, and we hear no other voice but yours, Lord God, speak to us this morning. Define who we are. [00:01:12] Bring conviction where conviction needs to come. [00:01:16] And Lord God, ignite that flame and that passion in us, God, to be witnesses for you in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. All right. Hallelujah. [00:01:27] Thank you, Jesus. So before I get started in the message this morning, God gave me a word to just release over the church and over the body as a whole, but specifically for this church. And how many of you guys know about the armor of God and Ephesians 6, 10, 11 and 12 and so on? And what I felt the Lord really showing me in the spirit of spending time with him was that the enemy's tactic has been and always is offence. [00:01:58] It's to bring offence, it's to get us offended. [00:02:01] You know, the Bible says that when we're offended, the love of God in us grows cold. [00:02:08] And the Bible says that as the days get closer to the return of Jesus, it says that even if it would be so, the very elect would fall susceptible to this, to this enemy's scheme of offence. The elect is you guys, the believers. [00:02:22] He's speaking to believers. [00:02:24] And so I believe the enemy has overplayed his hand. [00:02:27] And I believe that we are a people that recognize that Ephesians says that he has the schemes of the enemy, talks about the schemes of the enemy. He talks about how the armour of God is the weapon, is our defence, it's our defence to offence. [00:02:43] And I want us to purpose as a body this morning that we will not let offence in our church, in our hearts, in our homes, in our ministries, in our workplaces, that we are going to be a people that stand free from offence. Are you with me, church? [00:03:04] The enemy has overplayed his hand. He's shown us his tricks and his schemes and we have the armor of God. We stand in victory. [00:03:14] So put on, put on the belt buckle of truth that you are righteous, the breastplate of righteousness. That your brother and sister next to you are redeemed and blood bought and holy and sanctified by the word of God, that you have the gospel. The feet, what are the shoes of the gospel? What are they of? They're of peace. Hallelujah. Everywhere you go, everywhere your feet go, you bring the peace of God with you. You bring unity, you bring blessing with you. Hallelujah. That you carry the shield of faith, Lord God, that quenches all the fiery darts of the enemy. Every time he tries to bring a fence on your doorstep, you can step up with the shield of faith and you can say, I know who I am. I know who my God is. I don't have to walk in offence because I walk in forgiveness. I walk in wholeness. I walk in healing. And you've got that shield of faith right there. And you got the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, which is the word of God, which means that every lie has to be subjected to the truth of who God says you are, who God says about that person. [00:04:07] And so this morning, God, we just release forgiveness in this house, Lord God. We let go of offence that we may be carrying or holding onto, Lord God, because you want us to walk in freedom, Lord God. And the enemy has overplayed his hand. He's doubt it, Lord God. And we see it now, we see it now. And we turn from that offence, we turn from that bitterness in our heart and we release that person this morning, Lord God, to you. We thank you, God, that you died for them, you shed your blood for them, Lord God. You redeemed them on the cross, Lord God. That you call them holy and blameless, Lord God, and we pray a blessing over them now, Lord God, some of you are picturing someone now. Pray a blessing over that person, Lord, we release them to you. We bless them, Lord God. Would you multiply them? Would you bring them abundance, Lord God, in their life? Would you heal their bodies, their hearts, their souls, their minds, Lord God? Would you set them on a path of righteousness, Lord God? And would you keep my heart free in Jesus name? Amen Amen. Hallelujah. All right, now that that's out of the way, praise God. Was that good? [00:05:01] Praise God, man. You guys are victorious. [00:05:05] You guys are accepted. And the beloved. You guys are chosen, man. And just don't let that offense derail the call. Hey. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right, so I want to thank Pastor Tina, Pastor Kyle, Pastor Paddy for the amazing words that you guys have shared over the last few weeks. Can we just honor them this morning? Church. Thank them, man. You guys, it's just been awesome. It's been awesome. How many of you enjoyed this series on All in on purpose? You guys got something out of it. Yeah. You guys got something out of it. Amen. That's what it's all about. Even if you take one nugget away of truth away, then God can use that and he can transform your heart, change lives. Amen. Do you guys believe that this morning? [00:05:43] So we're talking about purpose. We're going to continue in that this morning. And here's our first thought for today. [00:05:49] Purpose never started with us. It always began with God. [00:05:54] Purpose never started with us. It always began with God. [00:06:00] You know, we are purposed in Christ. [00:06:03] That's where we find our purpose. Not in our vocation or what we do. It's in who God says we are. We are purposed in Him. [00:06:14] So before you can walk out your purpose, you have to understand what God's purpose was in the beginning. [00:06:22] For you to actually truly know your purpose, you have to know his purpose. [00:06:27] Amen. Amen. You guys are deep in thought over there. Good. Test the Spirit. Make sure I'm speaking the word of God. [00:06:35] Before our response to him was Him. [00:06:40] Before our obedience to him was him, was Jesus. [00:06:46] Before Our purpose is him, is Jesus. [00:06:52] In him, we move and breathe and have our being. That's why the Bible says in Him. It says in him all throughout the Bible. It's in him, by him, through Him. All things were created for him, through him, by him, in Him. It's in him we live and meet, move and have our being in Him. [00:07:09] Amen. Our purpose is not something we add to Jesus. Redemptive work. [00:07:17] Our purpose is found in his redemptive work. [00:07:21] We don't add something to what he did. [00:07:24] We find out what he did and we walk in it. [00:07:28] Purpose. We don't add to what Jesus did for us. [00:07:32] It's the launching pad for everything we do here on out. [00:07:36] Amen. Amen. [00:07:39] Amen. In Him. Before the foundation of the world, he chose us. He called us. [00:07:45] So check this out. We're going to read Ephesians 1:4-9 together. If you've got your Bibles, open it up. I'm going to be in the Amplified Classic this morning. But listen to how intentional and how personal and how passionate God's purpose is. [00:08:01] Let's read this together. So, Ephesians, chapter 1, verse 4. It says, Even as in his love he chose us, actually picked us out for Himself as His own in Christ, before the foundations of the world, that we should be. Check this out. Holy, consecrated, and set apart for him. And blameless in his sight, even above reproach, you know, like the enemy. He's always trying to bring reproach on your doorstep. He's always trying to remind you of the sins of yesterday. He's always trying to remind you of the things where you missed it and you fell short. But it says here that you are above reproach. [00:08:38] That's powerful. Right there. That we would stand before him in love. Next verse. [00:08:43] For he foreordained us, destined us, planned in his love. Oh, that's so good. To be adopted, revealed. So he revealed something. He revealed something to us as his own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with. Here's the purpose. Right here. In the accordance with the purpose of his will, because it pleased him and was his kind intent. Next verse. So that we might be. This is it. This is you. This is it. Right here. So that we might be to the praise and the condemnation of his glorious grace, favor and mercy, which he freely bestowed upon us in the Beloved. You don't earn it. You don't do anything for it. It is freely given. It is a gift. Amen. Verse 6, verse 7. In him, someone say, in him we have redemption. [00:09:32] Yeah. Amen. Say it. In him we have redemption. [00:09:36] Deliverance. Say it with me. Deliverance, salvation through his blood, the remission, forgiveness of our offenses, our shortcomings and trespasses. [00:09:46] Here it is, right here. In accordance with the riches and the generosity of his gracious favor. Verse 8. Which he lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding, practical insight and prudence. Verse 9. Making known to us the mystery, secret of his will, of his plan, of his purpose. And it is this in accordance with his good pleasure, his merciful intention, which he had previously purposed and set forth in Him. [00:10:21] Oh, Jesus. [00:10:23] Lord, it has never been about us, and it never will be about us. It has always been about you and what you did on the cross, Lord God. And we simply humble ourselves before you and say, yes, Lord, your will be done. We surrendered it all to you. Not my way, but your way, Jesus. You purposed me in you. You gave me new life. You made me a new creation. And you have a plan for my life, Lord God, that I should walk in it. That I am created for a good work that you prepared beforehand in me. That I might walk in it. Because I am your masterpiece. In Jesus name, Amen. [00:10:56] Come on, somebody. [00:11:00] That is the gospel. [00:11:02] That is the gospel. [00:11:05] Someone says, what's the gospel? That's the gospel, man. [00:11:10] Hallelujah. [00:11:15] Y' all having fun? [00:11:17] I'm having fun. So if you're not, man, I'm having fun. [00:11:20] Before you were born, before you failed, before you succeeded, before you had question, God had already chosen you in Christ. [00:11:29] He had already purposed to bring you into his kingdom, to adopt you as his son. Hallelujah. [00:11:37] And he did this not reluctantly or reactively, but lovingly. [00:11:43] This wasn't his backup plan. This was the plan. [00:11:48] Amen. [00:11:49] This was God's eternal purpose set in Christ. [00:11:55] Thank you, Jesus. [00:11:59] You know, there's something that really jumps out at me in that scripture, and I want to hone in on a little bit today. We're going to unpack it a little bit, but if we go back to. [00:12:07] I think it's around. [00:12:09] Timmy, you good, man. You got this. [00:12:12] It's the first one. Yeah. Ephesians 1, verse 4. [00:12:15] Let's go there. So it says, even in his love, someone say, in his love, he chose us. So the first thing you have to understand is that it's love that motivated God. It was the love of God that motivated him to choose us. [00:12:30] Amen. It wasn't obligation. It wasn't some plan or some, like, commitment that he had made. He's like, I really got to do this? No. It was in his love that he chose to do this. He actually picked us out for himself as his own man. That's so good in Christ. Before the foundations of the world, man. It ain't about you. [00:12:49] It ain't about you. It was before the foundation of the world. You couldn't mess it up. You weren't even there, man. [00:12:57] Jesus. [00:12:59] Hallelujah. [00:13:02] Right? [00:13:04] Prideful people. [00:13:09] I made a mistake. He's not gonna love me anymore. You weren't even there. [00:13:14] Oh, my goodness. That we should be something. Check this out. What should we be? Holy, consecrated, and set apart for him. Blameless in his sight, above reproach before him. And love. That's purpose right there. That we should be wholly consecrated and set apart for him. So let's look at that Together. [00:13:31] And hey, before I jump into this, like, you know, I've just laid it all out, man. You are loved. It ain't about you, right? You heard all that. You got all that, right? You understood that was the gospel. Predestined, chosen, accepted, and the beloved above reproach. All that stuff, we laid that out. That hit your heart, right? You got that? [00:13:50] Okay, let's go. All right, y'. All, like, what's gonna happen? [00:13:55] Holy Spirit. Hey, man, the Holy Spirit's gonna. He's gonna speak, and if the shoe fits, kick it off, huh? [00:14:03] Yeah. You know, man, I'm just setting you up. It's like skittles. [00:14:07] That we should be wholly consecrated and set apart for him. So our purpose. [00:14:11] Our purpose. Let's go to first Peter 2, verse 9. And amplified again. [00:14:17] Thank you, Lord. Help me, Lord. [00:14:19] Verse 9. But you are a chosen race. There it is again. Identity. Who God says you are, right? That's the first thing that he hits you with every time. When you see it in the Gospels, man, every time before God asks you to do, he tells you who you are, okay? He sets that up first so that you never do to be. You always be first and then do. [00:14:41] Do you understand that? He always sets it up that way first. He always tells you who you are and then who you now should be, okay? Never the other way around. Hey, do this and I'll make you be this way. No, no, no, no, no. You are this. [00:14:55] Now live this way. [00:14:57] Do you see? You see that, right? It's always identity first. It's always identity first. [00:15:03] Okay? You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood man. And like the Jewish people when they heard this, like this was. Cause remember, this is Paul writing to the Gentiles, right? And he's calling them. Exactly. What? Like the prophecy over here. This is crazy, what Paul's writing right now. Because he was a Hebrew, right? So the words he's using about us about the Gentiles are like, this is massive when it comes to identity. Because Israel was the chosen people, right? And now he's saying we are the chosen people. This is huge, man, really, when you understand it. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God's own purchased, special people. [00:15:43] Identity, right? We lay that out and then here that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and the perfection of. Of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. His marvelous light. [00:15:58] So just before we jump into the next verse, identity. You're chosen. You're a royal priesthood. You're a dedicated nation, you're God's own purchased, special people. And then he says, and now, because you're that. [00:16:09] Because that's who you are now, right? You're not who you were. This is who you are now. I've defined that. He says that you may set forth the wonderful deeds so you might proclaim how amazing he is. [00:16:21] That you might shout it out. Jesus is king. He has transformed me. I'm righteous now. I used to be this way, but he made me a brand new creation. I've been transformed by his love. You start speaking of his wonderful deeds and you might start to display the virtues and perfections of Him. So you might start to love when it's hard to love. You might forgive when it's hard to forgive. You might pray when you don't want to pray now. [00:16:47] You might sacrifice when before it was all about you and what you could get. But now you want to give. [00:16:53] These are the things that Paul's saying now that you might turn the other cheek, that you might give of your own to sow someone else in need. [00:17:01] This is what Paul's saying. That you might display the virtues and the perfections of Him. Why? Because he called you out of who you were in that darkness, that place, the pit that you once lived in. And he brought you into the kingdom. He brought you into the palace. He brought you into sonship. He adopted you as his own. [00:17:19] Why live in the pit? Why live with the pigs when you can be robed with the ring and in the righteousness of God, with the Father in his house? [00:17:27] Amen. That's what Paul's saying. Why keep living that way with the swine and the pigs? And I'm not speaking bad about the world. I'm not. That's not what I'm saying here. I'm saying there was a way that seemed right to a man and its end led in death. [00:17:40] But now we walk not after the flesh, but in the spirit. And we start to display the fruits of who God says we are. Because we're his chosen race. We're his royal priesthood. We're a special people. We're chosen and purchased by God now. [00:17:52] Amen. Y' all getting this? [00:17:58] This is so good. [00:18:00] That is purpose. [00:18:02] That is purpose. So God, his goal. [00:18:06] When we look at that scripture about being a chosen generation, his adoption was his goal. Right? [00:18:13] Why? Why? [00:18:15] So that he could reproduce himself anew. [00:18:20] That you could be a kind of first fruits, an image bearer of God, a representative of Christ, an ambassador for Him. [00:18:30] He purchased you so that he could transform you and that so he could display himself through you. [00:18:39] That's what it was. [00:18:41] He gave you a new identity. He gave you a new name. He gave you a new position, not so that you could hold onto it, but so that you could let your light shine among men so they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. [00:18:55] Amen. Somebody give Jesus praise for that. Because that's a good word, man. [00:19:03] Scripture tells us that he foreordained us, that he planned in love to adopt us. That we've been made his children. That he has lavished grace upon us. [00:19:13] Man. Come on, man. That's so good. [00:19:16] And he has made known the mystery of his will that was once hidden but has now been revealed in Christ. That we were once far off. [00:19:24] We were at enmity with God, but now we've been brought nigh by the blood of Jesus. [00:19:29] Thank you, God. And there's a purpose in that. Why? So that we could be set apart. So that we could be a witness for Him. [00:19:36] Amen. Your life is not your own. You were purchased with a price. That's what scripture tells us. Amen. [00:19:42] You weren't. Oh, man. Thank you, Jesus. Forgot I even wrote this. You weren't born again to fit in. [00:19:51] You were born again to stand out. [00:19:58] You are a city on a hill. You are the light of the world. [00:20:04] It's not your light, though. It's his light in you. [00:20:07] Amen. [00:20:08] Amen. Is this good? [00:20:10] All right, all right. So everybody loves First Peter, Chapter two. I'm a chosen generation. I'm a royal priesthood. I'm set apart. [00:20:19] I'm accepted in the beloved. I'm God's special people. Everyone loves First Peter 2, 9. But some of us want to skip verses 10, 11 and 12. [00:20:30] But we're not going to skip it today, Church. [00:20:32] We're gonna read it. [00:20:36] All right, let's go now. Let's read from verse 10 again. Remember, identity always comes first. Right. Identity always comes first. Let's look at that. [00:20:44] Say with me, Church. But you are a chosen generation. Oh, sorry. Let's start again. That's my bad. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God's own purchased special people that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and displ the virtues and perfections of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. All right, verse 10. Let me go. [00:21:13] Once you were not a people at all, but now you are God's people. Identity. It's always identity. Once you were unpitied, but now you are pitied and have received mercy. So before you were outside of the covenant, you were not a part of this redemption. You weren't part of Israel. But it says now that you were once not his people at all, but you are now his people. [00:21:42] Identity. First you were once unpitied, but now you are pitied and you have received mercy. Man, that's powerful. Verse 11. [00:21:49] Identity, beloved. He always starts with identity. Do you see it? See how he always starts with identity. What's the first thing he calls you? Beloved. He calls you as beloved. Straight off the bat. I implore. And then here we go. So be before you do I implore you as aliens and strangers and exiles in this world. Man, that is. [00:22:11] That's powerful right there. To abstain from the sensual urges, the evil desires, the passions of the flesh, your lower nature that wage war against the soul. [00:22:24] Conduct yourselves properly, honorably and righteously among the Gentiles, so that although they may slander you as evildoers, yet they may be witnessing your good deeds. Come to glorify God in the day of inspection, when God shall look upon you wanderers as a pastor or shepherd looks over his flock. [00:22:47] Okay, there's a lot in that. [00:22:51] There's a lot in that. But what is God saying in these verses? [00:22:56] First of all, identity. [00:23:00] You've been made something now. [00:23:02] You've been changed. You're not on a process of transformation. You have been transformed. You have been made something now. That's why the Bible says that you're a new creation in Christ, that old things have passed away and all things have become come new. But some people stop there. They don't read the next bit. It says, and all things now are of God. [00:23:21] All things now are of God. So the old has passed away and the new has come. And all things now are of God. That's who you are in the Spirit now, exactly like Christ. [00:23:30] Right? That's your identity. That's your position. [00:23:33] And so your purpose. And my purpose and the purpose of the church is to live in a way that demonstrates that we have been changed by the grace of God, that we belong to him. [00:23:44] And because of that, we don't look like the world anymore. We don't smell like the world anymore. We don't act like the world anymore. That's what purpose looks like, is that we know who we are. We know who God says we are. We know that we're chosen. We know that we've been pulled out of the pit and we're placed into the light now. And we know that it's his light in us that shines, not our light. And we know that we don't do things to be right with God. We're made right with God. So we live now to demonstrate and to reveal his goodness and his glory to the world around us. [00:24:14] That's what this is saying. It says that we belong to Him. And because we belong to him, we're set apart. We're different. And that's okay. We're supposed to be. That's a good thing. [00:24:26] And then. So that's why he says, don't keep doing those things that are part of your lower nature. [00:24:30] Which is. What's he talking about? It's not condemnation here. He's not talking about people that don't know God are somehow lesser than us. That's not. We're all equal in Christ. We're all being. We're all his kids. Some of us know that and we've been adopted. Others don't. And we need to tell them so they can be adopted. Hallelujah. But they're all image bearers of Him. They just don't know who they are. They haven't figured that part out yet. Because maybe no one's told them or the veil hasn't been lifted yet. And Satan's done a good job of blinding their eyes. But guess what? Light in you is greater than darkness in the world. [00:25:00] So let your light shine. Let them see the wonderful deeds of your Lord. Let them hear about the goodness of God in your life. Let them see how God has changed you. [00:25:09] You know that I used to be about my kingdom. I used to be all about building my wealth. Used to be about all I could get as how you saw me. It was what mattered to me, what you thought about me. Was I accepted by you? Did you bring me into the circle? [00:25:23] That's what it was all about for me. [00:25:25] But now, no. I don't care about me. I care about you. [00:25:28] Why? Because God's put that on my heart now, man. He's going to take care of me. He's my source. He's my provider. He'll take care of me. Does that mean I don't struggle some days? Of course I struggle some days. This is reality. I'm human. I'm still in the flesh. [00:25:41] But the truth is that my God will supply all my needs. [00:25:46] That he watches over me. He'll never leave me. He'll never forsake me. So that means I can now live set apart for Him. [00:25:53] Amen. [00:25:54] Amen. [00:25:57] And some of you are probably thinking, oh, man. This feels like works. No, this isn't works. This is your witness. [00:26:03] It's not works, man. It's your witness. Think about, like, remember last week, Olivia shared her message, right? [00:26:09] And that was so powerful, that testimony that she shared and some of was that was that works. Did she try and do something? [00:26:18] No. The grace of God just changed her. [00:26:21] And that was her witness to us, is that I used to hold on to all these things, but God's love has just penetrated through that now. And I realize who he says I am, and now I'm different, and I don't hold on to those things anymore. That's what the grace of God does. That's what transformation looks like. It's not about some kind of ministry effort or work or anything that we have to do. Our witness is not about a building or anything like that. Our witness is about how grace has transformed us. [00:26:46] Our witnesses, how grace has changed us from who we were to now who we are. [00:26:53] Yeah. Amen. [00:26:55] Yeah. Praise the Lord. [00:26:58] So our purpose always flows from what? What's it flow from? First. What does he always say first in the scripture? Our identity. Hallelujah. Thank you, Timmy. You're listening. You get a gold star, brother. [00:27:09] Our purpose always flows first from our identity. [00:27:12] Before we do, we be. We don't do to be. We are, so we do. [00:27:20] Amen. [00:27:22] We are first as chosen people, not because we're perfect, but because it was God's plan. Ephesians 1:5 says, in accordance with the purpose of his will, because it pleased him. And God didn't save you because he had to. He saved you because he wanted to. [00:27:36] So purpose isn't driven by obligation. It's driven by love. [00:27:41] And so that leads us to the next truth that I want to unpack with you guys. You guys okay? [00:27:45] You guys good? This is impacting you. You getting set free. [00:27:50] Amen. [00:27:52] Tell me something that you've learned this morning. Come on, someone yell something out. What's something you've learned this morning? [00:27:58] We're free. Hallelujah. That's it, man, right there. We're free. [00:28:01] It's not about you. [00:28:06] Amen. You got it? You absolutely got it. [00:28:10] I said this a couple weeks, right? Like 99% Jesus and 1% you is still 100% wrong. [00:28:17] Yeah, it's 100% him. [00:28:20] You don't add nothing to this thing. [00:28:23] Purpose without passion is pointless. [00:28:28] God had a purpose, but it wasn't purpose that hung him to the cross. [00:28:33] It wasn't purpose that kept them up there. [00:28:37] It was his passion for you that's what's called the Passion of Christ. It was the Passion, his love, his commitment to you that kept him on the cross. [00:28:46] Purpose will only take you so far. [00:28:49] You've got to have passion, you've got to have commitment, you've got to be sold out to it, you've got to be set apart. And that's what God demonstrated to us, right through the love of his Son, through the sacrifice of Jesus, that he purposed in Christ to do it. But when Jesus was in the garden and he was dripping sweats of blood and he was saying, not my will, but your will be done, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me. Purpose got him to that place, but it was passion that pushed him through. [00:29:17] You get it. You get it. Purpose will only take you so far. [00:29:24] But it's that passion for what you do, the why behind why you do it. [00:29:30] It's like when you're living for Jesus, so much opposition hits you, it tries to derail your call, it tries to come into your marriage and bring division, tries to come into your church and sow discord, bring offence, all that. There's so much opposition when you're going after the kingdom. That's just the reality of it. A lot of people say, oh, my life's going to be great now I've got Jesus, man. Yeah, it's going to be great because you got Jesus, but that doesn't mean you ain't going to go through stuff. [00:29:59] So purpose will get you so far. But are you passionate? Are you committed to Jesus? Are you all in for God? [00:30:06] Have you decided that you're going to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and let him take care of everything else? [00:30:13] Have you truly got the revelation that you were purchased at a price and your life is no longer your own, but it belongs to him? Have you truly seen that? Because that's where passion kicks in, when you realize God, you paid it all for me, God, and I don't deserve it. I didn't earn anything. I didn't do it. I was a mess. But you stepped into my mess, God. And Lord God, when you saw, like, oh, God, thank you, Jesus, thank you, Jesus, that you stepped in when I was broken, when I didn't have it all together, when I was absolutely at enmity with you, there was no reason for you to love me, but yet you loved me anyway. There was. I didn't deserve it. I wasn't good, I was a mess. I'd hurt people, I'd lied, I'd stolen things, I'D broken people's trust. But that didn't matter to you, God, because you saw me, who you created me to be, and you saw me get a revelation of my identity and you said, yes, I've called him by name. He's a chosen. He's chosen by me. I purposed him in my love. I pulled him out of the Mairi clan. I brought him into the. The marvelous light. [00:31:18] And you set your mark upon me, Jesus. When you truly get that, then passion is so easy because it comes alive in you. [00:31:25] It's not just theory or theology or. Oh, yeah, I saw it in the Scriptures. No, when it comes alive to you and you know that Jesus paid it all for you, and if it was just you, he'd go back on that cross. If it was just for you to say yes, he'd do it. [00:31:41] That's how you get passion. When you truly see the price that was paid for you, that God sent his only beloved son to die on that cross for you, for me, for the world. [00:31:54] If you don't look at how good you are or your performance, but you see what he did, you see his performance on the cross. You see that passion nailed him there and kept in there. [00:32:08] And he could have come down. The Bible says that he could have called down legions of angels and got himself off that cross. [00:32:14] But in Hebrews it says that for the joy set before him, he endured. [00:32:20] And that joy was you and I. [00:32:22] And when you see that, when you actually truly understand that, when you get a revelation of that passion kicks in not for what you're doing, but for who you're doing it for, that you just love him so much, you don't want to do life without him. Like Moses said, lord, unless you go, I don't want to go. Why would I go into the promised land? If you're not there? It's not really a promised land without you. Jesus and everything he could give me means nothing if he's not there, if I don't have him. [00:32:58] I love you, God. [00:33:06] Are you guys ready to go all in for Jesus? [00:33:10] Yeah. Are you ready to just give it all for him? [00:33:13] Just lay it all down? [00:33:15] Would you stand to your feet, Church? [00:33:24] Because if you truly want to pray that this morning, I would be honoured to pray that with you. I would absolutely be honoured to pray that with you. But I need you to know something, that your purpose will only get you so far. You have to fall in love with Jesus. [00:33:41] Passion is anchored in him. [00:33:46] In Philippians 3, Paul writes this. We got that one, Timmy. [00:33:52] Philippians 3:90 says, and to become one with Him, I no longer count on my own righteousness through obedience to the law. Rather, I have become righteous through faith in Christ. [00:34:06] For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith. [00:34:10] And in verse 10 it says this. I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. [00:34:20] And I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death. Look, that's what I'm trying to say this morning. [00:34:28] In order for something to come alive in the kingdom, something first has to die. [00:34:34] And you have to die to your plans, you have to die to your ways. [00:34:40] You have to die to your own understanding and lean not on that. [00:34:44] You have to acknowledge Him. [00:34:47] And he says, here, I just count it all. Nothing. I want to know Christ. [00:34:51] Is there anyone here this morning that will say, I want to know Christ. I want to know, not just know about Him. I want to know Him. I want to have that intimate fellowship relationship with him, that covenant with Him. I want to know Christ. [00:35:04] And I want to experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. [00:35:09] And I'm willing God to suffer with you. [00:35:12] I'm willing God for it to be uncomfortable. [00:35:16] I'm willing for some things in me to die. Whether that's unforgiveness or whether that's my plans and purposes, or whether that's the dreams and visions that I've had that have been of me. [00:35:27] I'm willing for all of that to leave it on the altar tonight. God, today. God, if that's you this morning, just in an act of faith, just raise your hand right where you are. If you're just saying, I want to know Christ. [00:35:41] Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for the hands. [00:35:44] Thank you, God. Man, I am so proud of you, Church. I'm going to give a couple more minutes. I'm so proud of you, Church. All these hands are saying, yes, I want Jesus. I give it all up for Jesus. I'm going to give a couple more minutes for these hands to go up. I want to go all in for Jesus. [00:35:59] I don't want to live my life my way anymore. I tried that for 30 years and it left me in a broken mess. I want to be all in for him. I want him to take the wheel of my life. I want him to shepherd me. I want him to lead me. I want him to show me great and wonderful marvelous deeds so that I can proclaim his name from the mountaintop, so that I can let his light through me shine so that they may see the wonderful Good deeds of my Father and glorify Him. That's what I'm saying this morning. That's what you're saying this morning by lifting your hands. That I want Christ to take over my life. I want him to be a witness through me. I want to give it all up for Jesus. Because nothing in this world tastes better than Him. Nothing in this world can satisfy like Him. Nothing in this world can bring me joy like him. Bring me peace like him. Bring me prosperity like Him. Bring me hope like Him. Bring me all the things that he says pertain to life and godliness and the knowledge of Him. Because I want to know Him. [00:36:50] I want to know Christ. [00:36:52] So Father, you see these hands this morning, God, you see these hearts this morning? Lord God, Holy Spirit, would you have your way? Holy Spirit, would you come and reveal to them who you say they are, that they're chosen, that they're set apart, that they're consecrated unto you, Lord God. That they've been made a royal priesthood. That they're your own. Purchase possession, Lord God. That it all starts with identity, Lord God. And when you write that on the tablet of their heart, etch that in their heart, Lord God. So that they know who they are, whose they are. And then they become to. To do the things that you've called them to do, Lord God. [00:37:28] But it never starts with doing. It always starts with being. [00:37:33] Thank you, Jesus. You see the hands this morning, Lord God. Let none of us leave the same way we came in, God. [00:37:42] We've had an encounter with you and your love this morning, Jesus. [00:37:48] Let us look back on this day. What's the day today? It's like the. What is it? [00:37:52] On the 8th of February, as a day when everything shifted. [00:37:57] We can mark this down in our diaries, God, as the day that everything shifted and we went all in. [00:38:02] And I promise you, if you, if you, if you just make that. If you make knowing him everything, I promise you, you'll look back on this day, the 8th of February, 2026, and you'll say, wow, look at what God has done. And you've really done nothing except say, yes, I promise you, man. He is such a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. [00:38:24] He gives us gifts, gifts are given to us freely, but he rewards those who go diligently after him. I promise you there are rewards when you go after Jesus. My wife over there is a reward for me going after Jesus. Hallelujah. [00:38:40] Amen. Love you, baby. [00:38:42] Father God, we just thank you for this service this morning, Lord God. We thank you for the way that you have met us right where we are and you have shown us the gospel. Lord God, that you have spoken the good news to our hearts this morning, that we are chosen, that we are set apart before the foundations of the world. Lord God, we weren't there, so we couldn't have messed it up. And we can't mess it up now. Lord God, you've marked us, you've called us, you've set us apart. You've placed us as a city on a hill, a light that cannot be hidden. And Lord God, we determine in our hearts to know you first and then fulfill all you've called us to do. We love you, Jesus. And the church said Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Pascal, Thank you for tuning in to today's message. To connect or find out more, you can reach us online at worldchangers.life.
