Show Notes

This message calls believers to live with clarity of identity and purpose by being about the Father’s business. Drawing from Jesus’ early declaration in Luke 2 and His life of obedience, the focus is placed on sonship before service, identity before activity, and relationship before performance. Growth, calling, and mission flow from knowing who belongs to the Father and aligning with heaven’s priorities. This teaching encourages wholehearted surrender, freedom from distraction, and living on mission to reveal God’s love, restore lives, and establish His kingdom on earth.

[00:00:00] Welcome to the World Changers Church Gold Coast Podcast. Join us as we listen to today's message. [00:00:07] Hallelujah. Good morning, wonderful people. [00:00:12] How is everyone? Happy Sunday. [00:00:15] Wow. [00:00:16] I have to preach after all of that goodness already. Amen. [00:00:22] How wonderful was the worship. [00:00:25] And Olivia, I am so proud of you. [00:00:29] I know that you stood here to give God all the glory, but you chose to surrender it all. You chose to choose him and his truth and to believe him unsurrendered, abandoning all that you knew or thought you knew. [00:00:49] And look at what God has done. Amen. There is so much more to come and. And my goodness. You preached. [00:00:59] You preached. [00:01:02] So you know, I'm going to make a bold declaration. [00:01:05] Welcome to women's ministry. Amen. [00:01:09] How good is God? [00:01:11] Pray about it. Don't let me tell you what to do. [00:01:16] Amen. Well, God is good. Amen. Amen. Let's pray. Father. I thank you, Lord, just for your goodness. I thank you for your grace. I thank you for your mercy. [00:01:29] I thank you for new days in you. God. I thank you that every morning that we arise your word. The Bible says that we encounter a new mercy every single day, meaning that we can truly grab ahold of the day, that we can choose you despite what we've done in the past. And we can break the cycles of what we are familiar or accustomed to or even addicted to. Father. Father. So I thank you for your word. I thank you for the Bible that is instruction for life and for godliness. Father. And I thank you that in this house and as many churches are gathering this morning, that I declare that we are believers and Jesus, we believe you, we believe your word, we believe your truth. Father. And I just know that in this city, in Gold coast, that we shall see your goodness in the land of the living. [00:02:34] And I thank you, Father, for the greatest revival, the greatest restoration, the greatest redemption that you gave your life for. That we shall see it and encounter it when we go and give good news to others. [00:02:53] So, Father, thank you for speaking through my vocal cords. Thank you for articulating the words to minister this morning. And I just give you glory for it all. It's in Jesus's name I pray. Amen and amen. [00:03:10] Amen. Well, Pastor Kyle, over the last several weeks has been ministering on all in about purpose and fulfilling your purpose. And this morning I'm going to tag on to what he's ministered. And my message to you this morning is about my father's business. [00:03:33] There is a part two brewing, but I'm going to table that. Because I know Pastor Kyle. Jules is smiling. [00:03:41] Pastor Kyle has more that he wants to minister in the upcoming weeks. So, Jesus, Jesus, we all know this amazing man, Jesus, that came to this earth and in the Bible when he was 12 years old, his parents couldn't find him. [00:04:02] They thought that he was elsewhere. And when they went into the temple, there was Jesus. He was right there in the temple and he was learning. [00:04:14] And his parents, Mary and Joseph, when they finally found him, basically saying, jesus, what are you doing? [00:04:24] And Jesus looked at them and said, did you not know? [00:04:30] This is in Luke 2:49. [00:04:32] Jesus replied to his parents and said, did you not know? [00:04:38] But why did you need to search? He asked, didn't you know that I must be in my father's house? [00:04:45] There's other translations that says, and Jesus said, I am about my father's business. [00:04:53] So here's Jesus telling his parents, at the age of 12 years old, he's saying, do you not know? No, I must be in my father's house. [00:05:03] I must be about my father's business. [00:05:08] And this here, I believe, sets a tone for Jesus in, in the rest of his life and in the rest of his ministry as well. [00:05:19] Just a couple verses down, we're going to read shortly in Luke 2:52. [00:05:28] But Jesus, when he said this to his parents, he was only 12 years old. [00:05:34] And what I find just amazingly powerful is that Jesus already at the age of 12, carried such clarity of his purpose. [00:05:50] Even at the age of 12, he was all in to his father's business. [00:05:59] Well, I don't know what you were doing at 12, but I'm sure I was riding my bicycle, playing with my little Care Bears and Strawberry shortcake. I was an 80s kid and, you know, listening to, let's see, 12. Yes. Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, because they just came out. [00:06:23] Yeah. [00:06:24] And. [00:06:25] But here, Jesus. [00:06:27] Yeah, wow. [00:06:29] 80s, baby. [00:06:31] Coolest years ever. [00:06:34] Amen. I won't. That's not my message. But Jesus at the age of 12, I find it so profound that he had such a clarity of purpose for his life. Now, maybe some of you were called or heard God or encountered a Bible at a very young age and you just knew your course. I find that fascinating. [00:06:58] But as for me, I wasn't that person. [00:07:01] But Jesus, he knew who he belonged to. [00:07:06] He was calling God, Father, I'm about my father's business. [00:07:13] So he knew who he belonged to, the Father, and he knew what he was sent to accomplish. Amen. [00:07:23] And Jesus knowing his identity, because when he says, I am about my Father's business. [00:07:32] He knew his identity, that he was and is the Son of God saying, I am about my Father's business. [00:07:43] But Jesus knew his identity. [00:07:45] And you know, he knew his identity before he ever stepped into a public ministry. [00:07:53] Before Jesus performed miracles, you know, at the age of 12, here he's saying, I'm about my Father's business. He had never performed a miracle. There was never a sign that, you know, he did. There was never a sermon. But Jesus knew who he was and he knew who he belonged to the Father. [00:08:19] And again, at the age of 12, did you not know that I must be about my Father's business? [00:08:27] Confidence and clarity there of purpose. [00:08:31] See, some people think that when you say, you know, I'm called to this, you know, God's gonna send me here, or maybe God's gonna keep me here and I'm going to do this. Some people look at others, I'm not saying you guys do, but there's some other people not here, but some people look at the person saying, with confidence and with clarity, God's gonna have me do this. I'm preparing for this. I'm studying. Because one day this, they look at them and say, oh, you're prideful. [00:09:14] Well, let me tell you, when you surrender to the plans and the purpose of God, when you surrender to the Father's business, that is humility. [00:09:28] That is humility. [00:09:30] When you say, yes, Lord, I'm called to evangelize in the streets and to teach evangelists and to raise them up into the Great Commission, to go and baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. You are surrendering yourself, abandoning yourself. Yes, Lord. Knowing that it is in his strength that you do it and not yours. [00:09:58] And you count the cost. [00:10:00] But that's not my message. Amen. [00:10:04] So surrendering to the plans and the purpose and the business of the Father for your life is humility. [00:10:13] Don't ever think for a moment that you are being prideful when you say, you know what, God, I'm yes, Lord, I'll be a part of women's ministry, a prayer ministry, or I'm going to start my own online ministry, you know, and you go to wise counsel, whether it be your pastors or whoever, and say, help me in this. This is what I want to do. This is what I want to be, you know? Amen. [00:10:46] God says, keep on. Got to keep on time. [00:10:49] But immediately after, Jesus said, I must be about my father's business. Luke 2:52. I love this scripture. Scripture, it says that Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature, and he found favor with God and all the people. [00:11:09] So here Jesus, just two verses before he's saying, do you not know I'm about my Father's business? [00:11:16] And then Luke writing this and accounting this, said, and Jesus grew in wisdom. [00:11:25] He was in the synagogues, he was taught, and he grew in stature, and he found favor with God and with man. [00:11:36] He was being taught of the Father. [00:11:38] And this reveals something profound. Jesus was so secure in his identity as son, even while he was growing, his development did not negate his sonship. [00:11:53] And this is why I love our children's ministry. We don't say, you're the next generation. [00:12:00] No, you are the now generation. [00:12:03] You are a now generation. That just because you are young, no, you are growing in wisdom and in the ways and in the knowledge of God. [00:12:13] And they will find they are finding favor with God and man. It's no surprise when parents message and say, oh, my child got all of these leadership awards. I'm like, yeah, church prepares them. [00:12:28] Church prepares. People that have been in church and are CEOs are actually so absolutely incredible. Because I believe church prepares people for corporate life and the things that they do, whether it be in ministry or whether it be in the marketplace. Amen. [00:12:47] And favor with God and all the people. [00:12:51] So even when Jesus was growing, he was so secure in his identity, it wasn't, oh, I'm young. [00:13:00] I'm not a son or daughter yet. No, the moment you encounter Jesus, you are a son and a daughter of God, and it does not change. [00:13:11] Just like an earthly parent here, if you do something bad, yeah, there may be, you know, your parents may have a, you know, a consequence for that. [00:13:25] But God never takes away the sonship or daughtership. [00:13:29] He calls us the children of God when we encounter him. He never takes it away. [00:13:36] And so growth in identity of Jesus, they never were in conflict. [00:13:45] So identity is identity. No matter how much you know or how much you don't know, they never are in conflict. Growth and identity is never in conflict. [00:14:00] So years later, at the very start of Jesus ministry, before he even healed a single person, before he even preached a message, the Father publicly affirmed him. In Luke 3 and 22, it says, and the Holy Spirit in bodily form descended on Jesus like a dove. [00:14:25] And a voice from heaven said, you are my dearly loved son, and you bring me great joy. [00:14:34] So here was Jesus. He was being baptized in water, and the Holy Spirit came like a dove. [00:14:44] And the Father said, you are my dearly loved son, and you bring me Great joy. Jesus had never performed a miracle. Jesus had never preached a sermon. Jesus was just growing in wisdom and stature and finding favor with God and man. And he knew that he was about His Father's business. [00:15:09] So before he did anything, here's God saying, you bring me great joy. Amen. Another version says, in you I am well pleased. [00:15:23] Do you know that today, no matter what you've done, no matter what where you've been, no matter what mistakes you have made, if you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Savior, the Father is saying to you, you are my dearly loved son, and you bring me great joy. And let me go just a little bit further, I'm going to mess with some people here. [00:15:49] In the Bible it says this. [00:15:52] Even if you don't know Jesus, he still calls you dearly loved and that you bring him great joy. Because the Bible says that before we chose him, he actually chose us, before we even chose Him. [00:16:10] Amen. [00:16:11] Amen. [00:16:13] That's the love of the Father. [00:16:17] So this declaration that the Father gave through the Holy Spirit was before any performance, the Father affirmed identity. [00:16:30] He did not affirm Jesus activity or Jesus doing. [00:16:37] Jesus Himself later reinforced this truth. In John 5:19, Jesus resounded this. In John 5:19, it says, so Jesus explained, I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. [00:16:59] Whatever the Father does, the Son also does. [00:17:04] So here is Jesus still in the Book of John about the Father's business, reinforcing the truth about being about His Father's business. Amen. [00:17:19] Everything Jesus did flowed from a relationship with the Father. [00:17:25] It never flowed from promotion and never flowed from self promotion, and never flowed from an opportunity and never flowed from the doing. [00:17:37] Everything Jesus did flowed from the relationship with His Father, his authority. You know, Jesus had authority. [00:17:47] He says the same authority he had we have today that came and comes from intimacy with the Father, being with the Father, spending time with the Father in His Word, in worship and communing and speaking with Him. [00:18:06] Jesus obedience came from sonship. [00:18:10] Jesus obedience came from being a Son of the Father. [00:18:17] And this is not just true for Jesus, but it's true for you and I. First John 3:1 says this. [00:18:28] See how very much our Father loves us. For he calls us, that's me and you, his children. [00:18:35] And that is what we are. But the people who belong to this world don't recognize that we are God's children because they don't know Him. [00:18:46] Have you ever encountered someone that said, there's just something about you or Maybe you've encountered someone and you stand like this. You don't know them, and it's like, I know you're a Christian. [00:18:59] Simon and I had that encounter at the office recently. [00:19:04] A guy came in and I was like, I just knew he's a Christian. And then he's like, oh, yeah, what do you guys do here? He was a chatty, chatty guy. Wonderful. I told him about the church, but he was a Christian, and I just knew it because we know each other. And when people see you set apart, people will see that. People will be like, what is it about you who's had that encounter? What is it about you? Yeah. Yeah. It's a cool moment. [00:19:36] Yeah. [00:19:38] So true for us, we're not trying to earn belonging. [00:19:44] As Olivia, beautifully stated, we're not striving for approval from the Father. [00:19:52] We operate from identity. [00:19:56] We live from identity. [00:19:59] We're not fighting to be a son or daughter. We're not fighting to be in the identity that Jesus has given to us. [00:20:10] Yeah. [00:20:11] And Jesus did not discover his identity through ministry. [00:20:16] He ministered from his identity in the Father being a son, and that's powerful. [00:20:27] So Jesus knew his mission. [00:20:29] He lived on mission. [00:20:33] Jesus lived on mission. [00:20:38] The woman that touched the hem of his garment, Jesus was walking through a large crowd. He lived, and the woman touched the hem of his garment. And Jesus said, oh, I feel virtue leave me. [00:20:51] And the woman said, you know, it was I that touched. And the woman with the issue of blood was healed. [00:21:01] So Jesus lived his life on mission. He went about the blind eyes, opening the lame, walking the dead, rising him, teaching and preaching the disciples the truth, so that the disciples would go on and establish what we know today as the church. [00:21:24] They gathered in the upper room and the Holy Spirit descended, just like Jesus said and talked to the disciples. [00:21:32] There's one greater that will come. Amen. [00:21:37] Jesus lived on missions. And throughout the Gospels, we see statements like in Luke 19:10, the son of man has come to seek and save the lost on mission. The Son of man came to seek and save those who are lost. [00:21:55] First John 3. 8. [00:22:00] But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. [00:22:12] He destroyed the works of the devil, which was sin. [00:22:18] We just have to believe that we've been redeemed and that we can choose life and. And repent and turn away and choose. Choose. Choose Jesus and believe Jesus. [00:22:32] Sin comes from the root of unbelief. I believe. [00:22:36] Why do people still they don't believe that there'll be provision. [00:22:42] I could go on, but I think you understand what I'm saying. [00:22:45] I believe that every act of sin is because of unto. [00:22:51] But when you begin believing right, you then will choose right. [00:22:56] You will be right on the inside. When you start believing right, when you start thinking right, everything will start transforming. That's why it says renew your mind according to the word of God. Take every thought captive to the word of God. [00:23:13] There's a renewal that takes place within your thinking. And when you can break these cycles and these patterns that you're like, ah, it's like cycle on repeat. [00:23:25] You have to begin choosing the way. [00:23:30] You have to begin choosing truth. [00:23:35] See, when you choose truth, it stops when you choose the promises, when you choose the way, when you choose Jesus. But you have to choose to think right, believe right and then you will do right. Amen. [00:23:55] John 4:34. Jesus knew his mission. This is another one. [00:24:00] Go away. Why are you interfering with us? Jesus of Nazareth, have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God. [00:24:15] Yeah, that's different than mine. 4:34. [00:24:19] Jesus replied. Was there a response? Let's get a 35. [00:24:25] I may have gotten my scripture mixed up anyway. Jesus says in John, my food is to do the will of him who sent me, which was the Father. Jesus is saying, my food is to do the will of him who sent me. [00:24:44] I may have typed the wrong scripture there, apologies for that. [00:24:48] But Jesus mission was so clear when you read the Bible. His mission in the Father's business was to reveal the Father to all mankind. [00:24:58] His mission was to redeem humanity, to destroy the works of darkness, to inaugurate a new kingdom, a new covenant, you to fulfill the law and to restore sons and daughters back to God. [00:25:19] So Jesus had a heavenly priority system. [00:25:23] You know, we, we. The Bible says that we are in this world, but we are not of this world. [00:25:32] We reside in this world, but the world does not dictate who we are. [00:25:38] We are believers. We are sons and daughters of God. And it doesn't matter what it looks like, what it feels like. The news report. [00:25:48] Jesus has a truth that combats that when fear tries to creep in. Amen. [00:25:55] But the world constantly tries to invite us in to a lesser agenda. [00:26:04] The world's way is a lesser way. [00:26:08] The patterns of this world the Bible talks about, the patterns of this world do not conform to the patterns of this world. There's a new pattern happening and it's the same Pattern, they're talking about another virus, a potential lockdown. Don't go and see state of frantic and panic and all of that. We reside in Goshen, people. [00:26:35] We don't have to conform to the world's way. See, the same old pattern is trying to come. What do we do? We do not conform to the ways of the world. [00:26:46] Amen. [00:26:48] All of this stuff, not just with this situation, but everything that the world has to offer right now, we do not conform to that, but we are transforming. Transformed to the ways and the. And the renewing of our mind according to the truth of God. And we reside in Goshen. We reside in the promised land. Jesus came to set us. We're in the promised land. We're not crossing over. We're not in the wilderness. We are in it now because of Jesus. We have not needing, not wanting, not desiring, not trying to cross over a line that doesn't exist. To get it, we have it. We have everything that pertains to life and godliness, the world's agenda, the world's way is a lesser agenda than the truth and the purpose and the business of the Father. Amen. [00:27:56] Jesus aligned himself to heaven's priorities. [00:28:02] There was a time that the disciples tried to pull him and distract him in Luke 4:43. [00:28:10] And he replied to the disciples, I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God in other towns too, because that is why I. I was sent. [00:28:23] So when distractions come, when voices come, and, you know, I'll attest to my own husband, there has been times that I've been like, you're crazy. [00:28:34] Why are you doing that? Honey, God said it. [00:28:39] Okay, if God said it, you know, you better be believing him. And then we journey a little farther in God and in prayer. And I'm like, whoa. [00:28:49] God surely did do that. [00:28:52] So even. I mean, it can rock a marriage. But I've been like, okay, I trust you, and I trust God more. But, you know, I trust you. You know, it can be a little weird in marriage when it's a ministry, family marriage thing. But, you know, my own husband has said this. You know, we're not going to be distracted. It doesn't matter what it looks like. God said it. Amen. And Jesus said to the disciples, I must do what the Father has sent. He knew there was nothing competing with his mission here in this world. Nothing. He would not allow anything to compete with it. [00:29:39] So heaven has a why for your life, the Father has a why for your life. And until that why is settled in your heart until you clearly hear from him, you know, and sometimes it could be a journey. It was a journey for me. Kyle knew from the moment we were saved. He went into the choir at the little Baptist church. They announced, mission trip. I need to go on that mission trip. And then he went on the mission trip. I literally just had Alex and had a. [00:30:14] Yeah, delivered him two days later, dropped his home. He went two days later, after Alex was born, to Mexico to build churches because he knew God said, but don't get mad at Kyle. How dare he? Tradition in my family. [00:30:34] I went to be with my mother, and my mother cared for Alex. And I, as my husband, was about the father's business. [00:30:44] I didn't understand. [00:30:45] I mean, we were fresh saved. But I knew when I prayed to God and I felt a peace that everything would be okay. [00:30:56] He went onto the mission trip building the houses. They asked to share his testimony. He had a long trench coat back in the what, nine, 2000s? Yeah. Black leather trench coat that he gave to. [00:31:14] 99. When we met, that's how old we are, 99. And he went in 2002. 2002. February 2002. [00:31:24] And he took a black trench coat to Mexico where it's. [00:31:31] And he gave it away. And it was the greatest thing ever. But it was at that mission trip, at that mission trip that he ran across the scripture in Jeremiah to go and rebuild, rebuke, reproof, restore the nations. [00:31:52] And he came back and he said, one day I'm going to evangelize, but one day I'm going to pastor a church. [00:32:00] Well, here was me, newly saved, not understanding anything. [00:32:06] I don't see that. How is that possible? [00:32:10] I'm not a pastor's wife. I'm not like them. But he not being distracted. This is what God's going to do. [00:32:19] Just a couple years later, a year later, when he said, God's going to send us to Australia when the US Gets bad again. You've lost it. This is too much. [00:32:31] Not distracted. It was about the father's business and it was a journey, you know, But I didn't know he was so sure what the father's business was for him. [00:32:43] Me, on the other hand, it was a journey. I don't know where I fit. I just don't fit. I would go to room. Sorry, I'm going to share this. [00:32:52] Sorry. About time, guys. But this is funny. Oh, my gosh, it's so funny. [00:32:58] I tried to be like, okay, pastor's wife. I gotta, you know, pastor's wife. [00:33:03] So we went to an event. And then they split the men and women. This is a leader thing. They split the men and women. And I'm clinging to Kyle saying, I can't do it. [00:33:17] I can't go in there. [00:33:19] Like, I don't trust myself on what I'm going to say. [00:33:22] Don't make me. I'm just going to sit in the congregation. You go with them in. And he's like, honey, you can't do that. You're really going to stick out if you're the only one in the congregation sitting. Like, okay, I'm going to go. [00:33:37] But okay, I'll go. So I go and we're sitting there, and I'm like, okay, Lord, who. How are you? Great. Great to meet you, you know? And I was. I'm shy, believe it or not, but I was very, very shy and timid back then. [00:33:54] So I'm sitting there and then a pastor's wife started saying about a lady in a very short dress that came into church saying, I need to speak with the pastor. And she said, I looked at that girl and said, honey, you not talking to my husband. [00:34:11] You're not going to talk to my husband in here, especially not looking like that. So I had the usher go and take her a blanket to cover herself because no one needs to be looking at that. [00:34:23] And I said, oh, my gosh. [00:34:26] So she came in one way and left the same way. [00:34:32] Oh, my gosh. Isn't church about transformation and the love of God? And could you not have put someone with the pastor? Because she probably needed something, possibly even Jesus. [00:34:46] And I got up because they all looked at me like I was the devil. And I got. Or Jezebel. And I got up and I left. And I think I messaged Kyle, said, yeah, we need to leave now. [00:35:02] And after that, I was like, I told you I'm not a pastor's wife, honey. [00:35:11] And I'm sorry if I'm ruining this ministry stuff for you. [00:35:18] And that was atoned for a long time until I had an encounter with God. And I'll share that another day. [00:35:28] Can't give it all out in one day. But I had an encounter with God. And it was in that encounter that I was like, this is what I'm called to do. Let me take it back to Jesus. I thought I'd give you a little funny there. [00:35:41] Heaven is your why for your life. [00:35:44] The Father has business for each and every one of us. [00:35:49] And it is up to us to surrender. [00:35:52] Even when we think we don't fit the mold. [00:35:56] It is up to us. To surrender and know that he will sustain us. And you know what some people may need to be like, what? [00:36:07] So they came in and kind of rebuked or given truth and love. [00:36:12] God wants you just exactly the way that you are, you know. And I used to tell Kyle, gosh, you know, I'm just going to make a mistake if I preach it. I'm going to make a mistake if I do that. And then I had to surrender that. [00:36:28] And the spirit of God said, even in your mistakes, I'm still going to prosper you and them. [00:36:37] And then I had to say, but what if people don't like it? The Holy Spirit said, how much greater will my anointing flow? [00:36:46] If you forget about the opinions of man? [00:36:50] Man will give an opinion. The world gives many. [00:36:54] But we are about the Father's business. [00:36:57] And the greatest business of all is love. [00:37:03] The greatest business of all is this is a family business. [00:37:08] If you look around, we are a body. We are not expected to do it alone. [00:37:14] He wants this year the prophetic to gather. [00:37:18] He wants to gather the intercessors. [00:37:21] He's gathering the evangelists, he's gathering the pastors, he's gathering the apostles. He's gathering the repairers of the breach. [00:37:33] That's a specific one for this year. [00:37:39] And it takes us all to be about the Father's business. [00:37:45] The Father's business looks like reconciling the lost, healing the broken, discipling the nations, pushing back the darkness, saying no in Jesus name, tearing down those strongholds, establishing his kingdom here on this earth, releasing compassion, truth and mercy to others. [00:38:18] This isn't just reserved for a pastor. [00:38:22] This isn't just reserved for an evangelist. This isn't just reserved for what? Who you think is the most anointed person that you know of. [00:38:34] This is reserved for sons and daughters, you and I. [00:38:40] There's no age limit. [00:38:43] There's no age limit. [00:38:45] The only requirement is surrender and believe. [00:38:49] Surrender and believe and get to know him. [00:38:56] The Father's business is continued through us. [00:39:02] Continued through us. [00:39:06] When my family came here or was preparing to come here, we sat down with all, with the three of our sons and Kyle and I, because we knew that our sons was on the journey as well. [00:39:25] When I got past my family's concerns and issues and we were at the airport with 14 suitcases and we had sold everything, didn't know anyone was on the plane. And their founder said, oh, well, there may not be anybody there when you get there, but go and do what the Holy Spirit says. Do what? [00:39:48] Oh, you can do that. [00:39:52] And then we came and you know, Alex is out of the house now but we'll do check ins because this purpose and I'm so blessed to see it sometimes with your children you're like, I don't know the way that they're going to go, but I've been so blessed this week. I've told them each individually the accomplishments of Alex and the things that's happening in his life. I'm so proud of you son. [00:40:19] Eli and the grown up things that he's doing and the music he's producing. I'm so proud of you son. [00:40:27] And Jojo, I didn't even know he scheduled a barista training for people in the church, enrolled in school, paid for the majority of it himself. [00:40:37] International tuition at that. [00:40:40] I'm proud of you son. [00:40:43] But can you imagine the Father saying to all of us, I'm proud of you son. [00:40:50] I'm proud of you daughter. [00:40:53] I delight in you. [00:40:54] And you don't even have to have it all together. [00:40:58] That's love right there. [00:41:02] This is about the Father's business. [00:41:06] We preach the same gospel. [00:41:10] John 20:21. Jesus said this. I'm wrapping up team again. He said, peace be with you. [00:41:19] As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you. [00:41:24] That's to all of us. [00:41:27] Peace be with you. [00:41:31] The grounding force to any aspect of the Father's business is knowing that we have his peace. [00:41:40] We have his peace. [00:41:43] Not a peace that the world can give, not a peace that the world reassures, but a peace that the Father has given. That Jesus has given and he is sending us. [00:41:58] We preach the same gospel. [00:42:01] We carry the same spirit that Jesus had and we demonstrate the same kingdom. [00:42:07] The day of Pentecost in the church, it wasn't just an event, it was an empowerment. [00:42:16] It was an empowerment to continue the Father's business. [00:42:26] So practical application about being walking by faith in the Father's business. [00:42:35] Spend time with the Father in His presence. [00:42:41] Obey the Father. [00:42:44] Obey him. [00:42:46] Surrender to Him. [00:42:48] Align your values and your decisions to his way. [00:42:54] Beautiful testimony from Olivia. That's what she did. She aligned everything to the way of Jesus. [00:43:04] As she said, scared, fearful. [00:43:09] Many along the way. Come on, Olivia. Yay. Come on, come on. Just a little farther. [00:43:16] Represent the Father. Reveal his nature. [00:43:19] Partner with the Spirit of God. Not by power nor by might, but by the Spirit of God. [00:43:26] Live on mission, intentional, compassionate and kingdom minded. [00:43:33] He calls us to not only believe in him, but to follow him in the Father's business. [00:43:41] Reconciling the world back to the Father. [00:43:46] Matthew 6:10 says, Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. [00:43:55] We have a great commission to go and preach the good news, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, telling them about the good news. [00:44:09] Hey, do you want some good news today? [00:44:13] Well, let me tell you some good news. [00:44:16] Let me tell you about a man named Jesus. [00:44:19] Have you ever heard of him? [00:44:25] This is the Father's business, and you are dearly prized, dearly valued, dearly loved by the Father. [00:44:35] And this is how we stay all in. [00:44:38] This is how we fulfill our purpose here in this world. Amen. [00:44:44] Amen. I'm going to turn it over to Pastor Kyle now. [00:44:50] Jesus, Thank you for tuning in to today's message.
