[00:00:00] Welcome to the World Changers Church Gold Coast Podcast. Join us as we listen to today's message.
[00:00:06] Thank you so much.
[00:00:08] Hallelujah. Let's give God all the glory. Let's give God all the glory and honor and praise.
[00:00:17] He is so worthy and wonderful.
[00:00:21] Amen.
[00:00:24] Thank you so much. Worship Team Wow and team all around. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
[00:00:32] Well, thank you all for being with us this morning.
[00:00:36] Out of anywhere you could choose to be, you are right here in church. And that's just amazing. It amazes me that people still, after nine years, they continue to show up. I'm like, thank you, Jesus, you're faithful.
[00:00:51] Amen. Amen.
[00:00:53] Well, your pastor is out in Israel.
[00:00:57] Yesterday he walked in the Garden of Geth. Well, not walk because it's closed in, but walked by the Garden of Gethsemane.
[00:01:05] He sent a photo of olives and olive branch in his hands. And he sent a photo riding camels as well. They literally were in the wilderness with the Bedouin people.
[00:01:19] And he is having just an amazing experience.
[00:01:24] So each time I speak with him, which was limited when they were camp camping literally in the wilderness, each time I speak to him, he has something amazing to say and to share and, you know, so it's. It's incredible. But he sends his love. He misses you all.
[00:01:46] And I know that when he comes back here, he's gonna have a lot to share with us. Amen.
[00:01:53] And hopefully pictures. Someone said, you need to share the photo of him on the camel.
[00:01:59] And when I teased him and I said, oh, honey, I'm going to share the photo if you want a camel, he said, no, honey, please don't.
[00:02:08] And, you know, for a second, I thought all the times you threw me under the bus when you preach, this is my opportunity.
[00:02:19] And then I remembered, do not combat evil for evil. Amen.
[00:02:27] Yeah.
[00:02:30] Yeah. So, Father, we thank you. We thank you for your goodness. I thank you for these amazing people.
[00:02:37] I thank you, Father, that as Claire said, we can give thanks to you simply for who you are.
[00:02:46] This Thanksgiving is a lifestyle.
[00:02:50] It's a heart posture.
[00:02:53] And, you know, Lord, we may not have anything naturally to give thanks for, but you being the supreme being, the Lord of all, we can just give thanks for who you are and stand in amazement and in awe of you.
[00:03:11] So, Father, I thank you. It's in Jesus's name we pray. Amen. And amen.
[00:03:17] The worship was wonderful.
[00:03:20] The host of angels were here again week after week after week.
[00:03:29] Powerful. Almost went poof.
[00:03:32] I had to, like, do this for a minute. And I looked back and grabbed a hold of Robin, like, oh, I'm in the throne room and I'm in the glory presence. I'm about.
[00:03:42] So I just sit down. I just said, sit down, Tina.
[00:03:45] It's all good, but God is good.
[00:03:49] Well, last week we learned about todah. Hope I'm pronouncing that right. That's the Hebrew word for Thanksgiving, meaning a sacrifice of praise. We talked about the sacrifice of thanksgiving in Leviticus and that it was a part of the peace offering. And when it came to the Thanksgiving sacrifice, there was a lot of do's and don'ts. And when you got to the meat portion, you had to eat everything in one day. You couldn't take leftovers. It was very strict in what you had to do.
[00:04:25] But now that we have Jesus, we are the living sacrifice, and we live in a sacrifice. I mean, there's praise, there's Thanksgiving, but we live a lifestyle of giving thanks of thanksgiving.
[00:04:40] And we discovered that gratitude is not just an emotion. It's an offering. It's a lifestyle.
[00:04:49] We saw that even in lack and even in loss. The prophet Habakkuk declared, yet I will rejoice.
[00:04:58] He said, you know, even though there's no cattle and leaves and figs and all of that, yet I will rejoice.
[00:05:10] The prophet, it was a beautiful illustration of no matter what we see, we can still rejoice because of who he is. We can still give thanks for who he is.
[00:05:23] And we learn that Thanksgiving is not after the victory. Thanksgiving is the victory. Amen.
[00:05:33] So this week I thought Claire was going to preach my sermon.
[00:05:38] This week we're going to look at the greatest example of thankfulness in scripture, and we're going to talk about Jesus himself. Amen.
[00:05:49] If tada means to give thanks as a declaration of faith before the outcome, then I believe that Jesus lived this perfectly.
[00:05:59] There were only a few accounts in the Bible of Jesus giving thanks when there was a circumstance.
[00:06:06] And every time Jesus gave thanks, something took place.
[00:06:12] Something supernatural happened.
[00:06:15] So let's go, go to the word now. Okay. Let's go to John 6, 5, 13.
[00:06:23] John 6, 5, 13.
[00:06:27] Amen.
[00:06:32] Do we have scriptures?
[00:06:35] Okay, well, I have the mirror Bible, so I'm going to read from the mirror Bible. It'll be a little different probably from your bible, but John 6, 5, 13.
[00:06:48] Okay, let me go there.
[00:06:55] All right.
[00:06:58] It says there was no getting away from the crowds, though.
[00:07:02] When Jesus saw the multitude, he arrived to Philip, how do you think we are going to feed all of these people?
[00:07:12] So he Turned to Philip and is asking Philip, or Philip is asking Jesus, how? How are we going to feed them?
[00:07:23] Where can we buy the bread?
[00:07:25] Where can we buy the bread? Where can we get it? And at verse six, it says he was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do.
[00:07:36] Philip replied, even if we worked for months, we wouldn't have enough money to feed them.
[00:07:43] Then Andrew Simon, Peter's brother, spoke up.
[00:07:48] There's a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish.
[00:07:54] But what good is that with this huge crowd?
[00:07:59] Jesus says, tell everyone to sit down. So they all sat down on the grassy slopes. The men alone numbered were 5,000.
[00:08:10] So it wasn't just 5,000 people. It was men alone. And we know that typically men come with women and possibly children and teenagers and all of that. So then Jesus took the loaves, he gave thanks to God, and he distributed them to the people.
[00:08:29] Afterward, he did the same with the fish.
[00:08:33] They all ate.
[00:08:35] They all ate as much as they wanted.
[00:08:38] And after everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, now gather the leftovers so that nothing is wasted.
[00:08:49] So they picked up the pieces and filled 12 baskets with scraps left by the people who had eaten from the five barley loaves.
[00:08:58] So here was Jesus. The crowd was hungry. You know, if you ever deal with anybody that's hungry, they kind of get hangry, which is hungry and angry.
[00:09:08] They were hungry, okay?
[00:09:12] And all they had was five loaves of bread and two fish.
[00:09:18] And here Jesus, he did not wait for more food to come. He gave thanks to God.
[00:09:26] He thanked in the not enough.
[00:09:29] And when that thanksgiving was released, the miracle then took place.
[00:09:36] You see, gratitude sometimes simply is the answer.
[00:09:44] A lot of times we look externally for the answer.
[00:09:49] Is it this, God? You know, if I fast for five days, God, then you're going to move.
[00:09:57] If I travel to the sunny coast for this big revival, that's the answer. Well, God, that didn't work. If I go down to tweed heads for that revival, that's the answer. Answer no. Sometimes the very miracle making key, so to speak, is gratitude, contentment and gratitude.
[00:10:23] Because here, Jesus, when he gave thanks, it opened the door for abundance to come.
[00:10:32] And not only did it feed everyone, oh, I love some leftovers.
[00:10:40] And in the sacrifice and all of that thanksgiving sacrifice, you couldn't have leftovers. You had to eat it all in one day.
[00:10:49] But when Jesus gave thanks, when they needed it, they even had the leftovers. 12 baskets full.
[00:10:59] Thanksgiving multiplies what looks insufficient. Amen.
[00:11:05] Thanksgiving multiplies what looks insufficient. See, we're looking for the sufficiency. We're looking for it in the natural.
[00:11:18] Robin said the most brilliant thing. We had an epic women's night Friday night. She said Caitlin had asked the question about what would you say to women? And she said, walk by faith and not by sight.
[00:11:32] Walk by faith and not by sight. See. See, when we. When we.
[00:11:38] Thanksgiving unlocks it, when we can see it in the spiritual realm, how can we not say, father, thank you for this. Thank you that this is mine. See, he's given us a kingdom that cannot be shaken. We have it.
[00:12:00] We have the victory. We're not begging for it. We have it.
[00:12:07] See, we are deconstructing religion, okay?
[00:12:14] Some of us, me included, have been taught you have to do a thing to get a thing.
[00:12:19] You have to be right and cleaned up and perfect for you to see the flow, for you to see it.
[00:12:28] No, there is repentance, okay? We do believe in repentance.
[00:12:36] But God is such a good God. He doesn't hold us to our mistakes.
[00:12:41] He doesn't hold us to our shortcomings. I mean, just before I preached, I stood here and I'm like, where is everybody? I told Kyle I didn't want to break the church while he was away. My fear is to break the church and do something just so wrong that people just don't come back, you know? And I sat here and I was like, oh, that's from the devil. No way. Get out of here.
[00:13:07] Get out of here. And then I had the mo. At this moment, I have a weird voice, squeaky voice. Maybe it's my voice they can't stand. And then it's like, you know, that's why I always say call, you preach. You do it. You speak. You. But you know what? Moses had the same thing.
[00:13:22] He was like, aaron, you speak. No God. No, God, I can't do it. No, God, I don't want to do it. And then God said, now you shall see the work of my hands.
[00:13:33] Amen.
[00:13:35] Sometimes when you get to the very end of yourself, and it's like, okay, God. Okay, God. Thank you, God. Yes, God. Amen, God.
[00:13:47] You shall see the work of his hands. Amen.
[00:13:52] Your story's not over by your. I don't know who this is for. This is not in my notes.
[00:13:59] But your story is not over because of your mistakes.
[00:14:04] Your story's not over because of your lack. Because right here, the story wasn't over when Jesus was before. Can you imagine how mean I. I would have some pressure right there. I have no money to buy everything.
[00:14:22] These people are hungry.
[00:14:24] They need to be fed, you know? And I prayed over the barbecue. I made pork and be chicken barbecue. And I said, I don't know if it's enough, but, Lord, I thank you that you will multiply it if it's not. Amen.
[00:14:39] But he didn't stop stop at the lack. He gave thanks by faith. Faith was the interconnection point to the miracle that happened.
[00:14:50] The miracle didn't happen in his hands alone. It flowed through the hands of those who obeyed. After he gave thanks, see, he gave thanks, and he said, the boy. And he lifted up the bread and everything, and then they were able to distribute it as well. Well, but you see, the people were resting.
[00:15:11] Take them to the grass.
[00:15:13] Take them to the grass.
[00:15:15] Let them sit down. How good is it that we can labor to rest?
[00:15:21] How good is it that we can believe and trust in God so much that even as we work and as we go about and as we do and as we plan and. And as we work and as we're slaying demons and as we're encouraging people and as we're cooking barbecue and as we're raising children and as we're teaching others and as we're trying to figure out what we're gonna wear for the day, and when curling irons and blow dryers and converter charges blow up, it's like, you know what?
[00:15:55] Hallelujah, God, you are working.
[00:15:59] I'm gonna keep resting. God. I mean, the true story.
[00:16:03] I feel so bad. Robin. I gave her a converter, and then her curling iron blew up. Literally disintegrated.
[00:16:11] And then her blow dryer blew up, and then the converter charger blew up, and Robin's like. And I'm like, robin, I'm sorry. I'll buy you another one. All good. And just keep on going on with the day. And she goes, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, my gosh, Tina, There's a message in this.
[00:16:27] And there was. Because God has spoken this. I'm going on a rabbit trail, guys. But this is for somebody, too.
[00:16:34] But I had received that same message before, and when she spoke it, I was like, oh, my gosh.
[00:16:40] I was thinking of somebody else, but I guess that was for you. And then she came back, and she was like, no. When God speaks a word, it can be for multiple others.
[00:16:49] So there's a new wine, guys.
[00:16:52] And that new wine needs a new wineskin. And that new wineskin is transformation.
[00:16:59] We have to allow the spirit of God to transform our hearts where there Is bitterness. Where there is unforgiveness, where there is distrust, we have to replace it all. Lord, I am thankful.
[00:17:15] These critical spirits have got to go.
[00:17:22] Criticism, cynicism, doubt, unbelief.
[00:17:27] We have to allow the greatest exchange to happen.
[00:17:33] That's supernatural. To exchange, I have had to do it. I still have to do it.
[00:17:39] Thanksgiving is your answer if you feel stuck.
[00:17:46] If you feel stuck, Thanksgiving, gratitude is your answer.
[00:17:53] Begin praising God even when you don't see it.
[00:17:56] Begin praising God when you're at the end of it and give thanks to him. Hallelujah.
[00:18:05] That was for someone right there.
[00:18:09] So the incredible thing is, let's go to John 6 and 23.
[00:18:17] Okay.
[00:18:22] Wasn't the version. There's another version, but we'll go with this.
[00:18:27] So in John 6 and 23, this is John referring to the place that Jesus gave thanks and felt fed the multitude.
[00:18:38] This was such a landmark moment that even John, he referred to the place as the place where the Lord had blessed the bread or the place where the Lord had gave thanks for the bread and the people had eaten.
[00:18:58] It doesn't say in the scripture.
[00:19:01] There we go. Thank you. However, other boats came from Tiberias. People came over near the place where they had ate bread after the Lord had given thanks.
[00:19:12] So here it doesn't say it's not the place where Jesus performed a miracle. It doesn't say it's the place where the bread was multiplied. It's so significant in what Jesus did. It is a place that the Lord had given thanks and they ate bread.
[00:19:31] The highlight was the Lord giving thanks. Not that the Lord fed the multitude. That was the highlight right there. The Lord giving thanks. Amen.
[00:19:44] So now there was a second account. Let's go to Matthew 15:32 and 38, another account of feeding. This time it was the fourth thousand.
[00:19:56] It was a different region, different people, same heart of gratitude.
[00:20:04] Let's get a Matthew 15.
[00:20:09] Can we do 32 through 38? I think I gave you Matthew 15:36.
[00:20:18] Thank you. Now Jesus called his disciples to himself and said, I have compassion on the multiple because they have now continued with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry. That's. That's world changers. We don't want to send you away hungry. That's why we feed you every fortnight. Amen.
[00:20:38] Lest they faint on the way.
[00:20:41] Yeah, that's not a good feeling.
[00:20:44] Then his disciples said to him, where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?
[00:20:52] Jesus Said to them, how many loaves do you have? And they said, well, we have seven and a few little fish.
[00:20:59] He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground, Rest, rest.
[00:21:05] And he took the seven loaves and the fish, and he gave thanks.
[00:21:09] He broke them and gave them to the disciples. And the disciples gave to the multitude.
[00:21:17] So they ate and they all were filled. And they took upon seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left. They had leftovers.
[00:21:25] Now, those who ate were 4,000 men, besides women and children.
[00:21:30] So here again, there was a lot, a lot of lot of people that Jesus fed in a different region, different people.
[00:21:40] But he had the same heart of gratitude.
[00:21:44] Again, gratitude preceded multiplication. He gave thanks and multiplication came.
[00:21:54] So in these two accounts, Jesus shows us a pattern.
[00:21:58] See the need, acknowledge the lack. Give thanks anyway. Watch God multiply. Be an alert expectation.
[00:22:09] So you see your need, acknowledge the lack.
[00:22:14] Lord, I thank you.
[00:22:16] I thank you that you are Jehovah Jireh, you are my provision. You are my provider. I thank you, Lord, that you're going to multiply whatever it is that I need, Lord, and then watch God multiply.
[00:22:31] Amen.
[00:22:32] Amen. So let's go on. That's not all. We have couple other accounts.
[00:22:38] Let's go to John 11:41. 44.
[00:22:45] John 11:41 through 44.
[00:22:50] So actually, let's back up a little bit, because that's right into the bam.
[00:23:00] Back up to where Jesus heard of Lazarus. I suppose.
[00:23:12] Now Jesus had not come into the town, but was in the place where Martha met him.
[00:23:17] Then the Jews who were with her in the house and comforting her, when they saw that, Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, she is going to the tomb to weep there.
[00:23:28] Then when Mary came where Jesus was and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying to him, lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.
[00:23:38] Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who came with her weeping, he groaned in the spirit and was troubled.
[00:23:49] See, this was Lazarus. Jesus was friends with Lazarus. And he was very close to Mary and Martha as well.
[00:23:57] And he said, where have you laid him? They said to him, lord, come and see.
[00:24:02] Jesus wept.
[00:24:05] Jesus wept.
[00:24:07] Then the Jews said to him, see how he loved him.
[00:24:13] And some of them said, could not this man who opened the eyes of the blind also have kept this man from dying?
[00:24:21] Then Jesus, again groaning in himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave and a stone laid against it.
[00:24:30] Then Jesus said, take away the stone.
[00:24:33] Mary, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, Lord, by this time there is a terrible stench, for he has been dead for four days.
[00:24:46] Jesus said to her, did I not say to you that if you would believe, you would see the glory of God?
[00:24:54] Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was laying. And Jesus lifted his eyes and he said, father, I thank you that you have heard me.
[00:25:10] Now let's keep going.
[00:25:13] And I know that you always hear me, but because of the people who are standing by, I said this that they may believe that you sent me.
[00:25:23] And now when he said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, lazarus, come forth.
[00:25:32] And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, loose him and let him go.
[00:25:47] So here was Lazarus, someone that Jesus loved.
[00:25:52] He loved Lazarus.
[00:25:54] And here his sisters were saying, he's been dead for four days.
[00:25:59] He stinks. Like how? Like how Jesus, he grieved.
[00:26:06] But then he gave thanks to God.
[00:26:09] And here Lazarus rose from the dead. He thanked the Father. Even before Lazarus walked out the tomb, thanksgiving was his declaration of authority. He wasn't begging heaven to move. He was thanking heaven that it already had happened.
[00:26:29] Thank you.
[00:26:31] Thank you, Father, that you hear my prayers. Amen.
[00:26:36] Gratitude aligns you with the resurrection power.
[00:26:40] I don't know what seems dead in your life right now.
[00:26:43] It could be a marriage, it could be a relationship, it could be a purpose. It could be the plans that you think God has for you. But let me tell you right now, put some Thanksgiving in it. Put some gratitude in it, because that's what Jesus did. Jesus thanked the Father. And even after four days, stinky. You may have a stinky situation in your life right now.
[00:27:10] Seriously, seriously stinky situation and all. Put some gratitude in it. Put some thanksgiving to the Father in it. Amen.
[00:27:27] This week. Oh, it was beautiful. We've got a ladies group and someone posted.
[00:27:34] She never posts prayer. I don't think she's ever posted anything in the group.
[00:27:39] And she said, I need prayer.
[00:27:42] I have a situation with my son. I can share this because, you know, it was public.
[00:27:50] My son is moving out and I have anxiety.
[00:27:54] So in the group, ladies just started, you know, just. Just bam, bam, prayer words, prayer, scripture, prayer.
[00:28:04] And something happened.
[00:28:06] Something happened. I mean, the scripture is full of thanksgiving, full of authority, full of. Full of just life and truth and God grace.
[00:28:15] I don't know how long it was. It seemed minutes to me because I was working. But not a long time after, she messaged the group back and she said, something has happened.
[00:28:29] My anxiety is gone. My son hugged me.
[00:28:33] You see, there was something dead in that relationship because when she said my son hugged me, that was significant.
[00:28:43] It was a relationship issue.
[00:28:46] Something shifted.
[00:28:48] I'm telling you right now. When you put gratitude truth in that situation, I believe that you will see it change.
[00:29:00] Jesus, thank God not for the pain, but for the getting ahead of myself.
[00:29:06] Gratitude aligns you with the resurrection power. It thanks God not because you see life, but because you know life himself.
[00:29:18] See, when things look dead, there's no life to it.
[00:29:22] But when you connect it in thanksgiving and prayer, and it's all intertwined with faith, everything you're connecting with the life source.
[00:29:36] Jesus, promise victory and you'll see it change. Amen.
[00:29:44] Thank him anyway.
[00:29:46] Resurrection starts when gratitude speaks.
[00:29:51] Another situation with Jesus.
[00:29:54] Jesus thanked God before his biggest trial. Claire, read it today.
[00:30:00] It was at the Last supper in Matthew 26, 26 and 27.
[00:30:05] I'm just going to read this and kind of go through this quickly.
[00:30:09] As they were eating, Jesus took the bread. He blessed it and broke it. And he gave it to the disciples. And he said, take, eat of my body. Then he took the cup and he gave thanks.
[00:30:20] He gave it to them, saying, drink from it, all of you. Jesus knew that the cross, cross was ahead.
[00:30:27] He knew that his whole purpose of even being sent to this earth, the Word made flesh, born of a virgin, born of a virgin, prophesied for years upon years of who this Messiah would be, who this person would be, and what he would fulfill.
[00:30:52] Jesus himself gave thanks with the disciples by taking communion with them. He gave thanks for his purpose to give his life on the cross.
[00:31:10] Jesus thanked God not for the pain, but for the purpose.
[00:31:14] He was thanking the Father for the covenant that his suffering would secure.
[00:31:21] See, Jesus was also betrayed during this time. Even in betrayal, he gave thanks because he saw redemption beyond the suffering.
[00:31:33] Sometimes we have to allow things to be redeemed.
[00:31:38] We have to allow the Lord to redeem things in our lives.
[00:31:44] We have to allow the Lord to redeem those things in our lives.
[00:31:50] We have to surrender it, not hold on to it.
[00:31:55] But gratitude and pain keeps your focus on purpose, not on mere pressure.
[00:32:03] You know, I was meditating and praying this morning, and I felt the Spirit of God say this. I said, lord, why?
[00:32:12] Why in these accounts? Why was this so significant?
[00:32:18] You know, as Jesus is in this, in this, as Jesus is, so are we in this world.
[00:32:25] As Jesus is, so are we in this world. It's in him that we live, we move, we have our very being right.
[00:32:32] I said, lord, why is it, you know, the lack of food? Why was it, you know, someone dead to be resurrected? Why was it before he went to the cross, why was it so significant that these accounts he gave thanks for and saw miracles?
[00:32:52] Wow.
[00:32:53] He gave me an answer.
[00:32:56] You see, the multiplication of the food was provision when there was lack.
[00:33:04] See, you and I today, what do we need? We need provision.
[00:33:10] We need provision.
[00:33:12] We need provision for our homes. We need provision for our purposes. We need provision for this church.
[00:33:20] Let me tell you, the testimony of this church in the nine years has been because of God.
[00:33:26] It's been in the moments that I've been like, honey, I'm just ready to go back to the U.S. like, we have nothing. How are we going to pay rent? Where are we going to move the church? True story.
[00:33:37] True story. Crying we have nowhere to take the church. We have nowhere to be. How are we going to pay for it? How are we going to live? How are we going to eat? What car are we going to drive?
[00:33:50] And then Kyle would say, honey, we're going to thank God because he healed our son from cancer.
[00:33:59] He gave us a house. Robin can attest to that. Some of y' all look at me like I'm crazy, crazy when I share these things. God gave us a house with everything in it she could. I mean, God gave us a house before with everything in it.
[00:34:13] God gave me a car. He's like, God's got this too. And he did, and he has.
[00:34:20] But we all need provision.
[00:34:22] And there may be times that we see lack. What's the answer? Thankfulness, Gratitude. Lord, I thank you.
[00:34:31] And then with Lazarus, dead things, stinky things. But it was also relationship.
[00:34:37] Jesus had a relationship with Lazarus.
[00:34:42] And as a matter of fact, Lord, help me. Thank you, Lord. Please help me with a scripture.
[00:34:49] Because Jesus told them.
[00:34:52] Let's try John 6 and 23. Jeremy, let me go here to my scripture.
[00:35:01] I'm going to find this scripture because Jesus told them, bear with me just one second while I find this address.
[00:35:10] Let's go to John 11:4.
[00:35:20] Yep.
[00:35:22] See, Jesus told them about Lazarus before Lazarus was dead.
[00:35:32] Jesus said, the sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the son of God may be glorified through it.
[00:35:42] This was before Lazarus had died because Lazarus was sick.
[00:35:48] Relationship and truth.
[00:35:52] And what Jesus had spoken right here was then dead.
[00:35:57] So here's Jesus like, whoa, no, Lazarus come forth.
[00:36:04] So relationship. When you feel like relationship is dead, relationship is dead. Especially when Jesus has spoken a promise for that relationship.
[00:36:19] No, no, no. Give thanks.
[00:36:22] Put some gratitude in it. Amen.
[00:36:26] And then the third thing, Jesus giving thanks before the cross. That was his purpose.
[00:36:32] That was his purpose, to go to the cross to fulfill a covenant, to save humanity, so that we can be free, so that we can go to the throne room of grace, seeking out mercies in the time of need.
[00:36:47] Purpose.
[00:36:49] I don't know where you are in your purpose, but I'm here to tell you right now, give thanks to God.
[00:36:57] You know, it is a time. It is a time that we truly let things go.
[00:37:05] That we truly let things go.
[00:37:08] We have to settle our issues, because I see purpose in here. I see purpose in here. And I want to see nothing more than you activated and the best version of you for your purpose here on this earth. Because Jesus spoke a word over you when he formed you in your mother's womb.
[00:37:29] He called you and he set you apart.
[00:37:33] So, discouragement, you gotta go.
[00:37:37] You gotta go. Discouragement, you gotta go.
[00:37:42] Fear, you gotta go.
[00:37:46] Start giving thanks for our purpose. Let's start giving thanks for our relationships. Let's start giving thanks for the provision.
[00:37:58] Now, there's one more thing.
[00:38:00] Maybe you've. Maybe you are like, I'm good. I got it all. My breakthroughs came. All of them. I'm in my dream job, my dream career, my dream ministry.
[00:38:11] I'm doing it all, and life is good.
[00:38:16] I'm here to tell you there's more. Because, see, there were 10 lepers.
[00:38:20] There were 10 lepers and all nine of them. You can read this. I'm not going to go through it. Luke 17, 11, 19.
[00:38:29] These 10 lepers, they went to Jesus to get healed, right?
[00:38:34] And Jesus said, you know, go. Go into the temple. He needed to do it proper. And then they. They all came out, and these 10 lepers, they received healing, okay?
[00:38:46] One of them came back.
[00:38:49] The one leper came back and he said to Jesus, he said, master, I thank you.
[00:38:57] And then the Bible says that then he was restored.
[00:39:04] You see, all 10 of them were healed.
[00:39:09] But the one that came back, something happened different to the others.
[00:39:16] See, he just didn't say, got my breakthrough, got my healing. I'm all good. No, he was like, thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Master.
[00:39:27] He was restored. If you know anything about leprosy, it eats. It eats skin, it eats fingers, it eats limbs. And if they went to doctors, they probably paid a lot of money.
[00:39:38] Who knows the effect that it had on their lives? But the one was restored, I believe, because I just know how God works when he restores a thing. I believe that limbs grew back. I believe that there was some kind of provision. I believe also that there was some kind of relationship restored. Because God doesn't do a little. God does a lot. Amen.
[00:40:07] So even if you've encountered your breakthrough, because I told God this morning, I said, wow, I had a revelation.
[00:40:16] Things have been so hard.
[00:40:19] And since we arrived here, the moment we arrived here, I stand here this morning, I'm like, you know what?
[00:40:29] Life is really good.
[00:40:33] Life is good. My children are awesome.
[00:40:37] You know, my church is awesome.
[00:40:40] You know, my marriage. I mean, if your Marriage is like 150% perfect, come talk to me. But we have a good marriage. But you know what?
[00:40:52] I love a lot of attention. Okay?
[00:40:59] And your pastor's working on it. I'm like, bestie. I need attention. I love his attention. But he. He has people to lead, and so I'm okay to share him. I'm not bitter, really.
[00:41:13] Truly, truly. That's been redeemed. Amen.
[00:41:20] But no, I was like, you know, Lord, life is good and I give you thanks.
[00:41:24] But I know, even in that, I know that there's so much more to come, you know, when you see your breakthroughs, there's so much more to come. Don't stop there. Don't stop there, because there is more to come.
[00:41:39] That's just who God is. He doesn't do the little bit. He does the lot a bit. Amen.
[00:41:46] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I hope you learned something here.
[00:41:53] Yeah. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Now let me give you some revelation.
[00:42:02] Maybe I think this is prophetic, too. For some.
[00:42:07] Every time Jesus gave thanks, heaven responded.
[00:42:13] Gratitude was the doorway to supernatural manifestation.
[00:42:17] He thanked before provision came and the bread multiplied. He thanked before death broke and Lazarus rose. He thanked before suffering and redemption came.
[00:42:29] Redemption began.
[00:42:31] He thanked before the covenant and salvation was released.
[00:42:35] When the one leper returned with Thanksgiving, he stepped into a fulness and. And restoration that he had never experienced.
[00:42:44] Now, listen here.
[00:42:47] Thanksgiving is not passive.
[00:42:50] Thanksgiving is prophetic.
[00:42:53] See, the spirit of prophecy is the revealing of Jesus, who was Jesus. Jesus was a word made flesh.
[00:43:02] So when you give thanks according to the word of God, because we have been given a kingdom that cannot be shaken. So what are we going to do? We're going to give thanks. Thanks.
[00:43:12] We're going to be thankful.
[00:43:16] That's why Thanksgiving is prophetic.
[00:43:20] What's our part? Faith, belief, labor to rest.
[00:43:27] See the spirit of God work.
[00:43:30] See the spirit of God work. See, you have supernatural assistance in this earth. Sometimes we think, and I used to be there. I'm just doing all of this alone. You're not alone.
[00:43:42] Call the angels. Call your unseen partner, the Holy Spirit. I sit in my office day after day and I'm like, I don't know how to do this.
[00:43:54] Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you help me. Thank you, my angels, that you go before me, that you make every crook in the path straight. Thank you. Thank you, Father, that I have your wisdom. See, we're. We have it. We have a kingdom, we have it. Everything that pertains to life and godliness. So if I need to know how to do something, I just say, thank you, Father, I have it. Reveal it to me in order to put in an application.
[00:44:23] That's how we begin. This rhythm of thankfulness doesn't come with moments of what we have those moments. But don't linger there.
[00:44:38] Have your whatever I say, a three minute fit. Have it and move on from it and give thanks for it. Amen.
[00:44:48] Thanksgiving is not passive, it's prophetic. It calls heaven into earth.
[00:44:55] Gratitude is the atmosphere of miracles. We, when we thank God, we're not reaching to what hap. We're not reacting to what happened. We are activating what's about to happen.
[00:45:09] Amen.
[00:45:11] We're not reacting to what happened. We are activating what is about to happen.
[00:45:16] Gratitude turns what's left into more than enough. It resurrects what looks dead. It brings peace and pain, and it completes what God thinks begins. Amen.
[00:45:30] This week, don't just ask God when you make your petitions known to God, because that's what we do.
[00:45:39] We make our prayers and petitions unto God. What do we want to do?
[00:45:43] Soak it in thanksgiving.
[00:45:48] Soak it in Thanksgiving. Amen.
[00:45:52] Thank him in advance.
[00:45:54] Return to him with gratitude in every situation and watch wholeness follow in your life. It's so zo. Nothing missing, nothing broken. Is that a reality? Absolutely it is. Nothing missing and nothing broken. Well, how do you know that, Pastor Tina? I don't know about that. The Word says it. I know it's attainable. Does it come without issues and complications and things?
[00:46:27] We are in this world, but we are not of it. Amen.
[00:46:32] Things in the world are going to happen, but we don't reside in the world.
[00:46:37] Where do we live? Goshen. Everything multiplies, everything grows. We have all that we need in Goshen.
[00:46:45] Oh, hallelujah. That's for another sermon. Amen.
[00:46:49] Let's just stand. Let's just stand before God. Let's just stand and give him thanks.
[00:46:55] Let's just stand and give him thanks.
[00:47:00] You activate your Thanksgiving. See, I don't know what you need.
[00:47:05] I don't know what you need.
[00:47:08] I don't know what your heart is or isn't.
[00:47:14] But today we're just gonna give thanks to God.
[00:47:18] I want you to look says look to the hills where your help comes from.
[00:47:25] Look up, close your eyes and look. I don't know what, I don't know how you do it, but we're gonna thank him.
[00:47:35] I want you to think about that thing in your life and you're just like, it's just not where I want it or it's been an issue or it seems dead or there's lack there or my purpose needs a reboot.
[00:47:51] I don't know my purpose.
[00:47:57] Let's just start giving thanks from your heart.
[00:48:01] Just start giving thanks from your heart.
[00:48:04] Just start giving thanks from your heart. I can't do it for you.
[00:48:11] So Father, we thank you. We thank you for Jesus.
[00:48:15] We thank you. That Jesus is our perfect example of gratitude and thanksgiving, Father.
[00:48:23] So today we choose you. We choose life. We choose to thank you even before the miracle, even before the breakthrough, even before the outcome.
[00:48:35] We thank you, Father, we thank you, Jesus, that as we do you multiply, that as we thank you, you resurrect.
[00:48:45] As we thank you, you make whole.
[00:48:48] I thank you, Father, that gratitude and thanksgiving is our declaration of faith and our thanksgiving is the sound of victory.
[00:49:01] So Father, I just say bless these people mightily.
[00:49:05] I add my faith to their faith. I believe with them, Father. I believe with them, Father, according to your word and your promise. Father.
[00:49:17] I thank you, Lord, for this church, that we are a body that is united, Father, that we can worship you in spirit and truth. That we can make declaration of your greatness and your power, Father.
[00:49:33] But I know, Lord, that there is more to come.
[00:49:37] That there is more to come, Father. So, Lord, I thank you.
[00:49:42] I thank you for the more provision. I thank you for the more help, Lord. I thank you for the more. Just the more, Lord, I thank you for the more people that we can come alongside and disciple and to see restoration happen. Because.
[00:50:03] Because of truth and life and grace. Father, I thank you for relationships, Father. I thank you for relationships in this church.
[00:50:14] I thank you for connection. I thank you that we are a body jointed together, fitted together, Lord.
[00:50:21] But Lord, I thank you that these people, you know, today is an equipping day, Father. But my prayer is that in their purpose that they be empowered to go and do that, they also can make disciples that they also can pray with people that they also can encourage people. Father I thank you that they will let their light shine so bright like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden from Father I thank you for it God I thank you for it. Lord I thank you that this word will bring much more revelation beyond what I've ministered. Father let them nestle this word into their heart Father your truth, your life, your way Father and thank you that it will reap a harvest in their lives and in other lives as well.
[00:51:16] Father I give you the glory for it all. It's in Jesus name I pray Amen and amen and Amen. Thank you for tuning in to today's message.
