[00:00:00] Welcome to the World Changers Church Gold Coast Podcast. Join us as we listen to today's message.
[00:00:07] Thank you.
[00:00:07] I'm trying color for a change.
It's usually black and white that I wear.
We're trying a little bit of color. Father, we thank you for this opportunity to minister to your precious sheep.
Father, we thank you that what you have supplied in us, in us, through us and around us is for such a time as this.
So, Father, we thank you for the revelation knowledge that we receive today about an unshakable kingdom.
Father, we thank you that we focus and give power to the things we listen to and that, Lord, I want to shift all my focus to you.
Not social media, not mainstream media, not opinions between denominations of theological denominational philosophies.
But Lord, I want to receive from you the person Jesus, the Holy Spirit, my Abba. Father, I want to receive from you that this world is not where I look to for my source of freedom, my source of happiness, my source of joy. But this world is something I am a pilgrim in and I'm just passing through. It's in Jesus name I pray.
[00:01:33] Amen.
Amen.
[00:01:35] Somebody give the Lord a hand clap of praise.
Wow, what a challenging job I have this morning.
This morning, each of you came in with something different and you came in with this.
Simon, can I borrow that for a second?
Your bag.
You came in with a tote bag of stuff, a great bag.
You all came in with something this morning that you were thinking about. I want you to do me a favor before I get into this message, I want you to take all that stuff and I want you to give it to Jesus.
All those things, the bills, the problems, the circumstances, the cares, the heartache, the breakup, the worry, the stress.
Can you just for a moment realize that we have an advocate with the Father? He says, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
For all of you that are heavy laden and need rest, give those things unto me. Can you for a moment take everything that is burdening you and go, Father, I release it to you in Jesus name. Can you just take that right now? In the name of Jesus, bow your head, close your eyes and say, lord, I need freedom from the things that worry me.
I need freedom from the things that bother me and give me revelation knowledge for how I can walk in freedom and how I can walk in liberty and the identity that is found in Christ.
[00:03:20] Amen.
Amen.
[00:03:24] I got a suggestion as well this morning. Get off social media.
I am on as of today, a social media fast.
I am Wanting to take a break from all the headlines and the news and all the problems in the world. Because those headlines are not my headlines.
You know what my headline read this morning? You are blessed.
You know what my headline read this morning?
Rejoice and be glad in this day, for the Lord has created it.
You know what my headline read this morning? Do you know? I will supply all your needs according to his riches and glory. And when I felt tired this morning, he said, I will renew your strength day by day.
And my headline also read in a sub article that if I can't do it, he gives me strength in him to do it.
[00:04:16] Amen.
[00:04:18] And you know, on the third page of my life story, of my headline this morning, he said, and I've sent you a comforter, an advocate, the Holy Spirit to guide you through all the day.
I don't know what you read this morning, but that's what I read. Amen.
Hallelujah.
Because if you look at the headlines today, it feels like the whole world is trembling.
Earthquakes shaking the ground, wars shaking nations and financial uncertainty shaking economics around the world.
But it's not the first time we've had these cultural shifts.
We had them in Egypt, you know, when Moses left, they took all the spoils of Egypt with them.
In this age, when we see a reckoning happening, we have to realize that the wealth of the wicked is returning to the righteous.
You're in position to receive when there's troubling times because you are of God's kingdom.
Amen.
Well, I don't know. I don't feel that culture is shifting and shaking and shaping its values faster than we can keep up with today.
I think, you know, everybody's talking about, I lost 6,500 followers.
Okay, sweet.
You know what I won't tolerate in this world today is when you try and change the definition of who Christ is.
You know what I will not tolerate in this world today? When you try and change the relevance of the word of God.
You know what I will not change today is when you try and come in and tell me what a non Christian and a Christian is based off of your opinion.
I know that the only thing I can do is look at the fruit of someone's life and say and see that that is of God or not of God based on the fruit.
What is a person's life producing will let me know who they're walking with.
[00:06:27] Amen.
[00:06:28] So for me, I'm not as much as all that is shaking. Let's be honest. It's not just out there, it's in here. It's in the church world.
People are coming in. We need to do this and we need to do that. And you should do this and you should do that. Listen, honey, you. Y' all need to just follow Jesus.
Instead of looking at what I don't know, what Alex doesn't have, I'm gonna pick on him. Cause he's my son. Pick on somebody else. They might leave the church.
You know, instead of looking at what Alex doesn't have, I should look at how Jesus is operating in him.
And if I see the fruit of that, that's what I need to encourage is the fruit of Jesus.
I don't need to be looking at anything else, but. Because what I elevate in his life is what he focuses on. So if I say, Alex, you look tired today. He's gonna be like, man, I need to rest more.
If I look at all the things in his life and highlight all the stuff, I'm just highlighting all the stuff. Man. We need to change our perspective and see Jesus.
I'm not saying we become lovey dovey, Kumbaya, Amen. I'm simply saying what you focus on, you give power to. And we are a part of an unshakable kingdom. They tried to snuff us out in egyp. They tried to kill us.
They've tried to throw us in fires. They've tried to get rid of our Bibles, they tried to. Man, they've done everything to get rid of this. And you think that a little bit of gossip on social media is going to kill Christianity? The only thing that will kill Christianity if Christianity leaves Christ.
Do you understand?
So I had to be honest.
We're shaking in our battles. We're shaking in the pressures of our work. We're shaking by the weight of online media. It's time to start shaking and start shaping what we believe.
But here's the promise.
When God shakes something, he removes and purges all the stuff.
And only thing that is in him will stand.
[00:08:39] Amen.
[00:08:41] So this is not about your lifestyle.
This is not about what you're doing.
This is not about what you're not doing. This is about what are you a part of.
Does that make sense?
Listen, if I go down to man, I don't want to name places.
If I go and there's a couple of gym buddies in here this morning, they're making me feel a little anyway, but a couple of gym. If I go down to gym A, I'm gonna look at all the gym bros that are big and be like, I'm gonna get big.
And I go down to gym B that's full of like all the old people like me. And I'm gonna be like, oh, I'm gonna get small.
I'm just gonna be healthy and be able to walk 50 miles.
But wherever I go to, whatever I attend, whatever I surround myself with will begin to shape what I believe.
Listen, if you think that two hours on a Sunday morning is enough to shape what you believe, you are walking in an anemic spirituality.
You have to feed yourself every day from the kingdom of God.
We are a part of an unshakable kingdom. And if you want to be storm proof faith that stands in the shifting times, you, you have to be dedicated and diligent in what you believe.
[00:10:04] Amen.
[00:10:05] I'm a little bit passionate this morning. Forgive me.
Because this shaking that's happening is prophesied in the Bible.
Matthew 24, if you want an address. There will be wars and rumors of wars. There will be earthquakes in diverse places, and there will be a great divide begin to happen between God's people and people that call themselves like God for their denying the power thereof.
All these things that are happening in the world, guess what? They're in your Bible.
The very thing that people are arguing about is not relevant and man wrote it.
You know why they want to tear down the Bible? Because the next thing they can tear down is the identity of Christ. To make it about interpretation of who Christ is instead of the identity of Christ.
Now, I'm not on some political soapbox.
I'm just saying, what do you believe?
I don't want advocates of Jesus, I want ambassadors of Jesus.
[00:11:04] Amen.
[00:11:05] Hebrews 12:26, 28 says, if you're wondering about the earth being shook and his voice shook the earth, then, but now he has promised, saying, yet once more, I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens. This expression, yet once more denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken can remain.
Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe. Therefore, I am a part of something that will remain. That no matter what happens in this world, no matter what war, no matter, no matter what angel or demon, king or kingdom, no matter what demonic force, no matter how I feel today, no matter if I woke up with some symptoms, give me a cookie. I know that God will remain.
You know what I Mean.
[00:12:12] Amen.
[00:12:13] God will remain.
Y' all looking for signs and wonders. Look at what you have on the inside. You have an atomic bomb of grace on the inside of you. And you're looking for an outward miracle in sign and wonder. Start opening your mouth, declaring and decreeing what God has given you by the authority of Jesus Christ. And these things, these things will change.
Oh, man.
Oh, you know, I was all calm and timid when I was talking to everybody this morning. Y' all probably thinking, what's wrong with him? I did not drink too much coffee.
I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I'm sick of being angry. I'm sick of seeing division.
The only thing that will unite us is the spirit of God.
We cannot discern or decide truth amongst one another until we are unified in spirit.
Whether you're liberal or labor or whether you're Democrat or Republican or whatever politics you follow, we will not unify in truth until we follow the spirit of God. And that spirit comes from the unshakable kingdom.
The world shakes, but God remains.
Everything in this world eventually shakes. Nations rise and fall.
Economics expand and collapse.
Culture shifts every few years. I mean, you.
How many, how many are old? How many people about my age?
In the 50 range? In the 40 to 50 range? Okay.
By the way, if you're above 40, you've seen some things. And I want to take a moment to say happy birthday to Ian. His birthday was last week. We want to say happy birthday to you.
[00:14:07] Amen.
[00:14:09] But by now you've seen that the world has almost ended a few times.
We've had a few deadly diseases and outbreaks that could have stopped everything. And the one thing we can't get rid of that keeps coming back around is something so stupid called bell bottoms, crop tops, mullets.
They just keep circling back around like a shark, you know, and pastel colored shirts. Why do they keep coming back?
But culture shifts by what everybody's focused on.
All it takes is one popular person to wear something trying to be different than everybody wants to be the same.
So if we're paying attention to the world, the ground beneath us will shake because it is constantly shifting.
But God never is moved.
God is not up in heaven changing his mind as much as you use his name.
I'm going to say that again for every Christian that says God said. But God has said 15 different things about the same topic. You haven't been listening to him and you're interpreting him in your own way.
God does not need a psychiatrist. He does not Need a pill to make him, help him with his thoughts. When God says it, it will complete it. And when it's completed, it will be finished.
If God is changing his mind, that is you changing your mind with imagination. And you are not hearing God.
Kyle, what happened to you?
[00:15:42] I don't know.
[00:15:43] Maybe I'm just getting serious about this thing.
[00:15:46] Amen.
[00:15:47] Doesn't mean we need to get legalistic. Start worrying and pointing everything out and keys to the service. You know what, Jeremy? If you would have just sang Kumbaya and Amazing Grace, everybody would have got saved. No, it's not about what you do. It's about connecting with the Spirit of God.
[00:16:02] Amen.
[00:16:03] Am I reaching anybody today?
[00:16:05] Amen.
[00:16:07] Malachi 3, 6 says, I, the Lord do not change. What does that say in the nasb? I think it says it similar to that. What do you got, Timmy?
Hebrews 13:8 says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Psalms 46:1 2 says, God is our refuge and our strength on every present help and trouble, therefore we will not fear. Though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the sea, the heart of the sea. One of the things I look at is what is God saying? No matter what you see happening, I'm still there.
What the enemy wants to do is he wants to sneak in and just like he did in Christchurch in New Zealand, and he just wants to shake everything and make it fall down and create these tent cities. For I, the Lord do not change. Therefore you old sons of Jacob are not consumed.
But what we saw, even in Christchurch in New Zealand, back a few years ago, it was rocked by earthquakes. Any New Zealanders here? The Headleys.
[00:17:15] Amen.
[00:17:16] Hallelujah. And Jeremy.
And there's probably more, but some buildings stayed standing. I wish they'd have fixed their bowling alleys, though.
Not because of the shaking was fierce, but wasn't fierce, but because their foundation was deeper, new buildings fell.
I'm going to tell you that all this TED talk Christianity that is becoming popular right now, it's going to fall because it's not built on the foundation of the Word. It's not built on Jesus. And if you keep building your faith on what other people say and the opinions of other people, without a personal revolution, revolution, revelation from the Holy Spirit, you have nothing to stand on. Because the moment that person that you heard it from falls or is not what you thought they would be because you met your hero, then that word no longer has relevance.
I mean, let's look at.
Let's look at Carl Lentz When Carl Lentz fell, it shook a lot of people because they had built their faith on his movement. He comes back, he comes back around the scene and talks about it. He's open and honest. Some people rejected, some people accepted it. And he even said I built too much on me.
When you build too much on what you see, you're actually not operating in faith.
We're a part of an unshakable, unchanging kingdom that is constant, secure, and God is the same yesterday, today and forever. We can depend on Him.
[00:18:56] Amen.
[00:18:56] He's not as inconsistent as your husband's and he's not as inconsistent as your wives or your sons or your dog.
I love my little dog, my little three year old James Bond dog. You know what a James Bond dog is? I look like a James Bond villain when I'm holding it. Cause it's this little white Pomeranian. You know, if you took a picture of me, I should just have a black hat and I'm a star of Golden Finger. You understand what I'm saying?
But that little dog was so abused for the first two years of his life, it's just now learning how to allow people to pet is taking us close to six, I don't know how many months to get him to stop twirling, to just be still to be petted. At first I thought that twirling was something he'd been taught or cute. But it was his anxiety, it was his reaction to something he's never experienced before.
When. Listen, listen. When you have never really experienced the spirit flowing out of the kingdom of God, it is going to feel uncomfortable to you.
It is going to feel foreign, it's going to feel new. And you're going to feel like I've been to church my whole life and I've never experienced this. Congratulations. You're finally experiencing a relationship with God instead of religion.
[00:20:21] Amen.
[00:20:22] And that is not something that will ever go empty or be an empty cup for you.
[00:20:27] Amen.
[00:20:28] The world may be shaking, but God remains friends.
This is true for us.
God is not surprised by what's going on in your life. You ever prayed that prayer? God, why did you let this happen? Like he didn't know that it was going to happen?
Well, God, why'd you allow it to happen?
Well, did you realize that we live in a fallen world and he's given us authority and he has released him. He has released his Holy Spirit into us because of the works of Holy Jesus.
Holy Jesus. Because of the works of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Now resides in you. That means you have power to be his voice on this earth. Whatever you loose in heaven shall be loosed on earth. And whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Do you realize the authority that you have as a Christian?
You wonder why your business is failing. Listen to how you're talking about it.
Did I talk to somebody? You wonder why you're unhappy all the time and why your friends are just not happy with your friends and how they treat you. Listen to how you talk about them. You wonder why your husband is acting the way he's acting. Listen to how you talk to him and how you talk about him.
You wonder why you. I can keep going down the list. However you speak about a thing will determine. That is the power of now. You had that power in this earth before you became a Christian because there's life and death in the tongue that is now linked to the Holy Spirit to be a holy decree.
[00:21:58] Amen.
[00:21:59] Oh Lord, I need to be careful what I say. Listen, God's so good that he will actually fix the stupid stuff you say.
[00:22:07] Amen.
Amen.
[00:22:08] Am I making sense? That's why we got something called grace.
[00:22:13] Amen.
[00:22:14] And that Jesus knew what he was giving us and he's growing us up in this powerful thing. Am I making sense to everybody?
[00:22:20] Amen.
[00:22:26] So why am I mood so easy?
Shaking exposes the heart while revival can emerge.
The church is going through a shaking right now that the Bible is prophesying about.
It says that there'll be the judgment or the shaking will happen in the house of God first. Hebrews says the shaking happens so that what cannot be shaken will remain.
[00:22:57] Amen.
[00:23:00] Shaking reveals what we've been trusted in.
If our security is money, the downturn exposes it when it's no longer present.
If our confidence is approval, rejection rattles it.
And if our peace is comfort, hardship reveals that whatever you're leaning on for strength will be exposed when trials come.
But you are a part of an unshakable kingdom.
When Jesus died on the cross, the earth shook, the veil rent. He took the power of death, hell and a grave. He restored us back to our state in spirit by the second Adam revelation. Am I making sense?
You are no longer a sinner. That is no longer your identity. You are someone that is capable of sin, empowered by grace, infused with the Holy Spirit so that you do not sin.
[00:23:56] Amen.
[00:23:58] So the reason you sin is not because the devil made you do it. The reason you sin is because you want to do it.
Now I'm going to move on from that.
[00:24:05] Amen.
[00:24:07] So here's the good news. While the world shakes, God moves, He remains, but he begins to speak. Hey, so listen to this. Look at what's happening. See, with all the bad news, how many knows what happened last week? And we prayed for their family. We know what happened with Charlie Kirk and we talked about it. We were not ashamed of it. We stood up for it and we were loud about it.
[00:24:31] Amen.
[00:24:32] But that's been a big thing and it seems to be masking the division and the right and left. What radicalized you? You know what radicalized me? Jesus.
I didn't become Republican and I didn't become Democrat just because something happened. I remain with Jesus and I'm radical for him.
[00:24:52] Amen.
[00:24:53] So listen to this. Here's some things you didn't know about. Here's some heavenly news. Are you ready for some new headlines? Are you ready for some good headlines? Amen.
All right, right here in Sydney, Australia.
Archbishop Sidney. Right here in Sydney, Australia, which you're not, we're in the Gold coast, but right here, not somewhere, not in some other country. Archbishop Anthony Fisher called it a spring, a second spring of faith. As hundreds of people, many from non Christian backgrounds, are stepping forward to follow Christ.
We have had a 50% increase in attendance in church in the UK.
The church is dying. No, it's not. In Brisbane, 40 minutes away at Awakening Australia. Oh, I don't agree with that ministry. Don't matter if you agree with it or not. God moved.
Even in pouring rain, thousands gathered over thousands and gave their lives to Christ being baptized in temporary pools in the oceans. They didn't have enough pools to baptize them, so they took them out to the ocean. And 500 people got baptized in the ocean.
And in the UK, for all our friends, church attendance has risen 50% in six years, led largely by what generation?
Gen Z. The one we've been calling the lost generation.
The very generation many thought was walking away, God spoke into because that's how God gets glory.
He didn't use Gideon because he was a mighty general and warrior. He used Gideon because he didn't have enough faith to stand up and fight and said, well, Gideon, will you lean on me when everybody else has given up on you? Well, the world said Gen Z was the lost generation. And guess what? God did. I'm going to use that generation for God.
Friends, what does this tell us?
First off, we listen to too much negative news.
That even when the world is shaking, God is shaping and shining and stirring hearts to revive his church.
[00:27:12] Amen.
[00:27:14] So, my last point.
My last point.
Well, I'm a citizen of Australia, but. No, you're not. You're American.
I have faced more hate and hell because of my accent in Australia. Well, who'd you vote for? Trump?
Well, you just think you know better, don't ya? We don't need y'. All. Well, then God sent me. Why in the world did I come?
[00:27:43] Amen.
[00:27:44] If y' all didn't need me, why did I come? I'm crazy. I wanted to be abused. I wanted to be broke. I wanted to be hungry. I wanted to be persecuted. I wanted to have false accusations against me. No.
I was sent because God has a love for Australia.
And if I could change my accent and not sound like Popeye.
Come on, mate.
I would, because Australia is my home. I love this country, and this is where God has planted me.
[00:28:15] Amen.
[00:28:19] So here's the good news.
I'm not a citizen of Australia.
Well, that's contradicting to what you just said. I'm not a citizen of America.
I'm not a citizen of this world.
My citizenship, where I have all my benefits, is in heaven.
I got the best life insurance.
If they kill me, not only does my wife get a reward, but I get an eternal resting place.
Amen.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
My pay raise is always going up.
I'm gonna stop right there.
Amen.
You don't. You will survive what the world's going through. We survived SARS, swine flu, bird flu. We survived Covid. We survived 2020. We will survive the next thing until Jesus comes.
Quit being shaken by what you see and quit letting fear lead you. Be led as a citizen and an ambassador of heaven.
[00:29:25] Amen.
[00:29:27] Philippians 3:20 says this. Do we got that one? Yep. For our citizenship is in heaven, for which also we eagerly wait for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Colossians 1 and 13 says, for he has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.
Huh?
You ever done a business transaction and you waiting on that money to appear in your bank account?
Any of you deal with cryptocurrency know that takes about seven days. And if you get money from another country, it can take seven days to 30 days. It can just take however long it wants.
[00:30:05] Amen.
[00:30:06] But my transfer from. From being a citizen of this earth to being a citizen of heaven was immediate.
[00:30:14] Amen.
[00:30:15] That means.
Listen.
That means our values are different than the world's.
I don't see race, color.
I don't see political views.
I get angry about some things and the way those things are used to divide us.
I don't see denomination.
I don't see what Bible you're reading.
I just want to know if I can see Jesus.
[00:30:42] Amen.
[00:30:43] I just want to know, can I see Jesus?
Our hope is different.
[00:30:48] Amen.
[00:30:49] Our hope is different. The moment we became a citizen of heaven. We don't look to the things of this earth to sustain us. We look to when troubling times come, God runs in and raises the standard.
One of the most powerful things that I realized about being a citizen of heaven is that my future is secure.
[00:31:13] Amen.
[00:31:15] Just a few months ago, despite global turmoil, thousands gathered in Brisbane.
No matter what was going on, they gathered and they received Jesus.
That is not survival.
That's the evidence of revival.
When people are willing to go outside of their comfort zones to say, this is what I'm hungry for.
They're having fun up there.
We do not belong to a shaken world.
We belong to an unshakable kingdom.
You know, my wife said to me this morning, do not be afraid of pulling back from the manifestations of God. Do you know what the first manifestation of God is?
[00:32:28] Love.
[00:32:29] Do you know what the second manifestation of God is? Truth and love.
And where truth and love are, there is grace. And those produce faith.
Our beliefs are founded on love, truth and grace.
And through that mixture, through the man that came and died for us, we were born into faith, a hope that was ours to own.
So this morning, for whatever reason that you came, for whatever purpose that you came, you've heard some things and you've heard some headlines that are not of this world, but they happened in this world. A lot of times we come to church and we hear about what's possible, but we never hear about what's happening.
Why isn't revival happening in me?
Those people in Brisbane, those people in the uk, those people in Sydney, those people got hungry.
They said, I need God above everything else. They didn't care how good their life was. They weren't looking for someone to agree with them. They weren't looking for a comfortable place to sit. They were saying, I love God and I want to put him first in everything. Look at what he's done. He gave his son for me. He died on a cross and rose again. He established the Holy Spirit in me. He gave me grace that's unearned, unmerited, so that I no longer do to get. But I have gotten good. And therefore I operate out of what Jesus has given to me.
[00:34:06] Amen.
[00:34:09] So I don't know why you came.
If I look at you and you're visiting for the first time, you just happen to be there.
I don't know why you came.
I don't know what moved you as a regular or as a visitor, but I can know that this message, this message series is not a coincidental thing that this church, that God has hidden in a little place as a remnant and said, I'll let you know when you're going to grow.
It's starting to get to the point where I'm like, lord, we need to change shoe size. It's getting uncomfortable up in here. We ain't got no places for people to sit.
And then it just so happens a few people go on vacation and then new people come in and we got enough room so it feels comfortable.
God is moving in this place. But can I tell you a little secret?
Here's the amazing thing.
God's moving in your home just as much as he's moving here.
And you don't need some special service. To have God move. This that I'm talking about is an everyday thing.
He's moving in your heart. He's moving in your church. You coming to visit me again?
Every church service. Come here, buddy. Come here, buddy. You my little buddy.
Every church service, this guy coming to see me.
It's all right.
What'd I tell you last week? This is why we do this.
[00:35:46] Amen.
[00:35:47] Now every time I do this, he's like, get me back to my mama. Watch this. He'd be like a little scooter.
He just wants to be acknowledged, just like you.
He just wants to be heard, just like you. He just wants to be loved just like you.
And you know what? He wants to play, just like you. And if I can give him a memory of church being a welcoming place that he's not just seen and not heard, he'll want to come back to church.
[00:36:13] Amen.
[00:36:14] That's what we're sowing when we operate as a community instead of a religion.
We're operating out of the love of God. So can I get back to the point? Here's the reality of what I want to say to you. And I think my time is just about up.
Here's the thing I want to say to you.
Quit looking at what you think needs to happen.
Listen.
Listen again, everybody. Quit looking at what you think needs to happen and start listening to what God wants to happen.
Start following the spirit of God for you.
Well, Pastor, if you'd have Done this in the service, we'd have had that. Well, you looking too much at me.
What is God saying to you in this service? Well, I don't know if that word really fits me. Okay, Prideful, come repent.
If you're coming in churches just criticizing and surveying, you have become so wise, the Holy Spirit can't even talk to you.
I want to see a church that's willing to hear God, that's willing to hear his love and his grace and his spirit.
I want to see a church that your generation can be excited about instead of wondering, should I invite them today? Is it going to be crazy? I hope it was okay today.
[00:37:30] Amen.
[00:37:31] But can I tell you something about the generation behind us? While we trying to be perfect, they're just looking for authentic.
They just want they hear so many truths. They just want to know something that resonates.
So Father, today, remind us what we're a part of.
Remind us of what we have.
Remind us that we're a part of something unshakable. Even though everything is shaking around us, everything's vibrating, every relationship seems to be buzzing and everything seems to be tense. Remind us there is still peace in the middle of the storm.
Let us rest like Jesus and get up in power and speak with authority.
Let us not be moved by what we see, but be led by the Holy Spirit and God. As I end this series, I want to impart a revelation into these people.
It comes as a simple phrase.
Stop looking around and start looking to him.
Father, before they make that first phone call, before they ask why did you do that? Before they ask why did she do that? Why he did that? Why are you letting this happen to me? Can they just look to you, the ever present help in time of trouble?
Because you are not walking away from us. Religion, the devil and our past will try and say that it's by how we act that God is walking near us. No, when we are weak, he is strong.
So Father, remind us about the main thing. It's not about the gifts of your hands.
It's not about the moving.
It's about your authority and your presence and the salvation that we have that is in the kingdom of God.
Father, I thank you for this message. It's in Jesus name I pray and we all say Amen.
[00:39:35] Amen.
[00:39:40] Now I'm not gonna look around cause I'm not looking for results. So I'm gonna close my eyes too.
I won't even know if anybody raises their hand.
Cause this ain't about me. This ain't about this church. This ain't about this organized day. This is about you and your heart. So everybody close your eyes. That means everybody. Unless you're a mama trying to watch a baby.
If you don't know Jesus, every head bowed, every eye closed, and you would like to know him, that is a personal thing. That is between you and God. Can you just make that decision? Because since we're not looking, we don't even know if you're going to raise your hand. Can you accept this invitation to be a part of something immovable, unshakable? Pray this prayer with me, everybody. Lord, I see you.
I've ran from you.
I've come to you.
I've stepped in and out.
But Lord, today I want to have this peace.
I want to have this happiness.
I want to have this boldness.
I want to live free from the pain of this world.
I want to walk in joy, love, brotherly kindness and all the fruits of your spirit.
Lord, I accept you as Lord of my life.
Jesus, I welcome you.
Fill me with your spirit and as my sins are forgiven, renew my mind and guide me for the rest of the days of my life.
It's in Jesus name we pray and we all say Amen. Let's give the Lord a hand clap of praise.
