[00:00:00] Welcome to the World Changers Church Gold Coast podcast. Join us as we listen to today's message. [00:00:16] Okay. [00:00:18] All right, all right. Well, I don't want to steal the show, but I'm telling you what that word amen means. So be it. Amen. [00:00:27] We believe. [00:00:28] Amen. Somebody say it with me. We believe that 2025 is going to be the year of freedom. We give you thanks, Lord, in Jesus name. [00:00:42] Well, I want to welcome to the stage the ministry gift, my wife, Pastor Tina Self. [00:00:59] Okay, great. Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you so much all. Glory to God. And you may be seated. I didn't realize how bright these lights are up here, but Praise the Lord. [00:01:14] 2025. Welcome to World Changers. Amen. It's a good day. Amen. It's a good day to have a good day. Right, well, I won't delay. I'm gonna go ahead and get into this message that I believe the Lord has put on my heart for a little bit now. [00:01:34] It all started pretty much through my own personal journey and then a prophetic word that God gave me recently. [00:01:46] And I just dug into what the Lord was saying. And then when Kyle said, you've got the first Sunday to minister of the year, I like, I know what I'm preaching. And so thank God I did not vomit this morning because I was very, very nervous to preach this. [00:02:06] But praise God, he is good and he is with us, right? Amen. [00:02:12] This morning I'm gonna my sermon title is Church Hurt. Church Healed. [00:02:18] Amen. Church hurt. Church healed. So Father, I thank you Lord, I thank you for your goodness. I thank you for your love. I thank you for your truth and your freedom. I thank you Father for the power of your word that where your word needs to go forth. Father, I just say go in Jesus name, Father, I thank you that this is the year of restoration and freedom, Father. So I thank you Lord that there even is freedom from church hurt. That we can reside in a place that we are church healed in Jesus name. I thank you Father that we by your spirit that church hurt is being demolished, Father. That the idol of church hurt is being demolished in the mighty name of Jesus. And no longer will the identity of the church be hurt, but it will healing in Jesus name. So Father, I thank you that Ephesians 3:10 says that it is through the church that the many sided wisdom of God in every aspect of God that people will know and be made known of who he is. So I give you glory for a powerful church in the mighty name of Jesus I pray Amen and amen. [00:03:54] So, hallelujah. Good morning. [00:03:58] So we're just gonna dive into this topic of, you know, a lot of us can relate to the topic of church hurt. [00:04:07] You know, we hear it often through many people, and, you know, it's a topic that people leave churches over and may even leave many churches over because they feel in some sort of way, they have been hurt. And church hurt is real. I'm not diminishing the fact, not saying that church hurt is not real, but we can get hurt in any sphere of life. Amen. We can get hurt in any relationship that we are in at any time. [00:04:45] You know, hurt can come in the form of possibly unmet expectations. It can come in the form of being called names. You know, I can relate to that. I've been called Jezebel. I've been called worthless. I've been called, you know, insignificant. You know, why are you meeting with them? She doesn't like you. Because, you know, I know she's a tither in the church, but don't waste your time. You know, she doesn't like you. And, you know, I get that, and I understand that. So this message is not to diminish the reality of hurt can and does happen inside of a church. Amen. Other ways that being hurt by the church is conflicts, especially unresolved conflicts, feeling judged. You know, I feel like my life has been judged. And I feel like, you know, instead of welcoming me, you know, knowing that I did this or I've done that, that I just wasn't a part, I feel like I've been judged in some sort of way. [00:05:56] But church hurt is real, and it can be very, very painful. Trust me, I know. [00:06:04] But there's also good news. There's also church healing. There's also healing that happens inside of a church, and that is through the power of his spirit, through the power of who God is, the power of Jesus, you know, as the worship team sang, you know, about his blood. There is power and Jesus, his sacrifice that he gave on that cross when he said it is finished. Amen. Because he is the one. Jesus is the one that brings healing. He brings restoration. He restores purpose even in the deepest of wounds. We can read the Bible and see many people in the Bible that's been hurt, betrayed, felt discarded. You know, think of Joseph, his very own brothers discarded him, pretended like he was dead. Told their father, oh, you know, he's been dead. [00:07:10] They were deceitful. [00:07:12] But you know what, Joseph? [00:07:15] God set him up. God set him up. And The Bible says that what the enemy means for harm, God always turns it around for good to those who love him. [00:07:29] We're gonna break that down a little bit more later on. Let's think about King David. Ooh, King David. Saul was after him. Saul was someone that should have been right there beside David, training him up to be the next king. But what did Saul do? He sent out, you know, a hit on him to get rid of him. Because they started saying, you know, Saul's slayed the thousands and David the tens of thousands. You know, Saul, someone that should have been right there with King David was after him, betrayed him. [00:08:05] David, even when they went out and fought and he came back to the village and everything, you know, the wives were taken, the village was taken, and David was horrified. Everyone that just fought with King David was now against him. His brothers and sisters were against him. [00:08:28] So David ran. And what did David do? He strengthened himself in the Lord. The Bible says we're going to break that down hopefully next week, because I've got a part two here. [00:08:40] Jesus himself was betrayed by one that he walked very close with Judas. He was betrayed. He told Peter, he said, peter, you will deny me. I don't know that Jesus, it happened to Jesus as well. But Jesus, he kept loving. He was about the Father's business. Amen. [00:09:06] He kept the main thing. The main thing, so to speak. [00:09:11] But you know what? We have to acknowledge the fact that there is hurt in a church. [00:09:18] There is church hurt, but we cannot stay there. I believe us as believers that we have a part in repairing the church, restoring the church, restoring each other to the place of healing, to the place that God intended us, every believer to be, which is free in him, whole in him. And it is possible because His Word says it is possible. [00:09:50] Okay, again, I am not diminishing church hurt, but I do want to give truth in the fact that we need to be a healed body. This is a body message, not just here. Okay? [00:10:05] Amen. [00:10:07] So I have a scripture from Psalms 147:3. It says, he heals the wounds of every shattered heart. [00:10:18] Jesus heals the wounds of every shattered heart. He heals the brokenhearted, and he binds wounds. Amen. [00:10:30] When we go through things, when we go through hurt, this doesn't apply just to church, but because I am speaking to the church. Church hurt, like I said, can be misunderstandings. It can be failures in leadership. It can be unmet expectations, it can be conflicts. You know, we need to acknowledge I have been church hurt. If you have been, we need to Acknowledge church hurt is real because the church is a body of people. [00:11:09] And where there is people, there is flesh. [00:11:13] And where there is flesh, you never know what you're gonna get. Amen. [00:11:20] That's why the Bible, Proverbs, oh, there's so much in this. My goodness. I'm gonna try to keep it on track. I do have next week. I do have next week. But the Bible is clear. And how we approach church hurt, that is part two next week. Amen. How do we. When I am church hurt, when I get church hurt, what do I do? That is part two for next week. Amen. [00:11:48] But we need to acknowledge that inside of church, hurt can happen, but healing can also happen, too. Amen. [00:12:00] Now we don't have to go to Bible college or theological school or know the Bible inside and out to know that there is fault inside of a church. Amen. [00:12:10] You know, we could find fault with a church even before we became a Christian. Right? I know. I was mad at the church, felt hurt by the church even at a teenager that I was. We do not need skill to find fault in the church. Amen. [00:12:29] But if we want to be like Christ, we have to be willing to lay our lives down. [00:12:41] We have to be willing to love the sacrifice of Jesus more than what our soul feels. [00:12:54] We have to love the sacrifice of Jesus more than how our soul feels. [00:13:03] We have to lay aside every weight. Oh, it's going to be dramatic and have a ball and chain and come in and all this stuff. And Kyle said, that's dramatic. You don't need that. You've got the word. [00:13:15] Yes, you did. [00:13:20] You are in church. [00:13:23] But we have to lay it down. We have to let it go. We have to cast aside every weight that so easily besets us. Listen, church hurt is easy. It's easy to be hurt in a church. Amen. [00:13:42] It's easy. But you know what? We have to lay it down. [00:13:49] We have to be who Christ has gave his life for us to be. And that is Christians. To be Christlike. That is a believer. That is an intercessor. I am standing in the gap here. I am laying my life down because I love you. I'm laying my feelings down because I love you. [00:14:16] I love you even in your sin. I love you in your mistakes. I love you in your faults. I love you in your brokenness. But guess what? There's one that loves you greater, and his name is Jesus. Because every single day you have a new mercy. Let me tell you, God has spoken to me for many years over this. I Was church hurt? I was on the plane back to the U.S. i was crying. I was done several years ago. And I said, God, my heart is broken. [00:14:50] And he said, Tina, your heart is not for them. My heart is for him. [00:14:58] Amen. [00:15:01] And the Lord said, walk with me. Learn of me. Let me love you. Let me comfort you. Let me heal you. [00:15:18] And I took of him and I drank of him. And I let the Spirit of God comfort me. I let the spirit of God do only what the Spirit of God can do. Amen. [00:15:32] I sought wise counsel. Now, this wasn't like this. Behind the scenes, I was a mess. I would call people. I even said cuss words, guys, I'm gonna be transparent. [00:15:46] I threw some out. Amen. Because I was hurt. [00:15:51] And you know what? Jesus loved me through it. [00:15:58] In the garden. In the garden. Jesus thinking about giving his life. He did not want to leave. He did not want to leave. But he knew the Father was saying that the time is now for you to give your life. And he was in anguish. He was crying to the point that it was almost as death. [00:16:20] And then his Word says, and then Jesus going a little farther, going a little farther. Sometimes to get you out of this idol called hurt, you need to get up out of it and just go a little farther. Amen. [00:16:42] Because it is a trap of the enemy. [00:16:46] It is time, despite the hurt in the church, to pray, to intercede. [00:16:55] We have to be intercessors that stand in the gap. [00:17:02] What does it mean to stand in the gap? [00:17:07] Standing in the gap is stand in the gap for the church, for the body that needs to be healed. Right? [00:17:18] The gap is the distance between the way things are, what I see, what I feel, and the way in which it should be. Truth, the word, Bible, Jesus, the spirit of God, freedom, liberty, restoration. [00:17:46] We stand in that space, we cast down the accuser of the brethren, which is Satan. [00:17:55] And we intercede. [00:17:57] We intercede when we are offended, when we are hurt because we see something wrong with the church. I believe at times it's only because Jesus wants you to stand in the gap and pray, to see change. [00:18:19] We have to be the men and women that others are looking for. [00:18:25] We need to be the peacemakers. We need to be the sons and daughters of the most high God, saying, you know what? You are my brother, and you know what? You are my sister, and I honor you enough to at least have a conversation before I just disappear. And everybody going, where are they? What happened? Where did you go? Did something go wrong? That's the devil's playground. Right there. When people just disappear from the church, everyone's going, what happened to them? I don't know where they went. The enemy has so much playground there. Anyway, move on. [00:19:05] But we are the sons and daughters of God to bring healing, honor, and order to the body of Christ, to the church, and we all have a part in that. Amen. Each and every one of us have a part in that. Each and every one of us can pray. Each and every one of us can make a petition unto God. [00:19:29] But when we ignore the pain of church hurt, it only deepens the wound. [00:19:36] It only deepens the wound. And that wound will fester. And when that wound is open, the enemy can work in all of that because next thing you know, somebody else links up. I've been hurt, too. Yeah, you know, I mean, it's real, guys. It is a real thing. [00:19:56] But healing begins when we acknowledge it before God and with God, knowing that he is the healer. [00:20:07] Have we went to him with our hurt? Have we? [00:20:13] Have we went to him and before him? And are we working it out with him? [00:20:23] I myself have asked the Lord many times, do you not see what your Christians are doing? [00:20:30] But you know what? They have a new mercy each and every day, just like I have a new mercy each and every day, just like you have a new mercy each and every day. And who they were last week, maybe they have repented, and they are not the same this week. That's why we are not to judge. Amen. [00:20:55] Every time. It's almost as if I've asked the Lord, do you not know what they've done? Do you not know what they're doing? [00:21:04] It's almost like he answers back and says, oh, yeah, I died for that. [00:21:10] And my grace is sufficient for that. And my word is true for that. And my healing is there for that. And my conviction is there for that too. [00:21:22] Amen. Who are we to say, you know, but he is the great restorer. And, you know, when it comes to healing, we can put it before God. We can seek wise counsel. [00:21:41] You know, I sought many people. I went to other pastors, seasoned pastors. Thirty years in the ministry. I talked to people. I held my feelings accountable to other people. [00:21:54] And they didn't always say, oh, you should feel that. Sometimes it was like, you know what? It happened. What are you gonna do now? [00:22:03] Cause you can't stay there. [00:22:07] But God's heart is for the brokenhearted. In Isaiah 61:1, it says, the spirit of the Lord is upon me to bind up the brokenhearted. He binds up that brokenhearted he sees your pain. He's near to the brokenhearted and he desires to bring comfort and healing. [00:22:31] We cannot alter the past. [00:22:34] Everything that's happened in the past, right, wrong, indifferent, misunderstanding, we cannot alter that. [00:22:44] But we can put the past on the altar before God. And we know that when we put things on the altar. [00:22:55] An altar is a place of worship. [00:23:00] It's an act of worship. And a worshiping heart, I believe, truly allows God to restore the soul, to heal the brokenhearted King David. He. It's almost like I can envision him putting his heart before the Lord. And he said, father, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. [00:23:34] Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. [00:23:43] That's powerful, you know, the spirit of God can clean our hearts, can renew our spirits. Amen. [00:23:58] Jesus himself, as I stated, experienced rejection, betrayal by those closest to him, yet he responded with grace and forgiveness. I want to give you some practical application here. [00:24:14] We can spend time in prayer with God, put it all before God, be transparent with him, because he knows anyway. [00:24:23] Ask God to help you release that pain. [00:24:27] Ask God, what should I do? If you are currently being church hurt, go to the person and talk to them. [00:24:37] That's biblical. Go to them and talk to them. [00:24:41] Amen. If you cannot work it out, bring a leader or another person or another leader for it to be worked out. Amen. That is biblical. [00:24:53] We'll talk more about that next week. [00:24:57] Seek godly counsel. Seek counsel. Look, there's some traumas in our life that we need counsel. [00:25:07] We need someone that is equipped in the realm of counsel and in healing that can work together to help you overcome and release that trauma. If it's a place of trauma, this with anything, or go to a trusted friend and process the hurt, come to your pastors. Hopefully we're not hurting anybody here, definitely not our hearts. But begin that path of healing. [00:25:36] Break the cycles of criticism, fault finding, and truly be Christlike. Because when we are hurt, we tend to fall into a criticism, to criticize everything because we're hurt or finding more fault because we're hurt. [00:25:57] But the path to healing also intertwines with forgiveness. Matthew 6:14 says, Bear with each other and forgive one another. If any of you have a grievance against someone, forgive as the Lord has forgiven you. [00:26:15] Hey, look, forgiveness doesn't mean to excuse it. Forgiveness doesn't mean to be just take anything and everything. That's not forgiveness. Forgiveness is not pretending that it didn't happen, but it means that you are Freeing yourself from the burden of hurt, from the burden of anger, from the burden of bitterness. You are releasing all of that and saying, you know what? This alt is not for me to carry. It happened. You know what? But this is not who I am. I'm not going to identify with this. And you release it and you forgive. And let me tell you, forgiveness can be a process. [00:26:57] When you make the decision to forgive, it can be a process, and it can be a continual decision. [00:27:07] I'm gonna forgive them. I'm gonna forgive them. And what's gonna happen when you place forgiveness in your heart and in your mind and work it out with God in that way? At first, it's gonna be like they, oh, you know. But then over time, that, you know, we all feel it. That, ugh, it's like a gut feeling, you know? You know what I'm saying? It's like that gut feeling that no longer are you feeling it every day. It may, you know, it starts to pass, and then it starts to fade away to where it was so prominent in your everyday life that as time goes on and when you keep processing this forgiveness and making the decision to forgive, it slowly fades away, and then it becomes a testimony. Amen. Amen. Because now I'm living in testimony and I am standing saying, you know what? Church hurt is real, but also is church healing. And you know what? Let me tell you, we went through an awful church split. [00:28:15] Kyle and I both had accusations at every turn. We were called some of the most awful things. We had emails going back to the US from 11 people, two of them, I did not even know their names, and I had to Google them. And that was during the time that we filed our labor agreement that we were like, oh, who do we put on the org chart? But you know what? God turns everything around for good. Amen. Because this church, even right now, even right now, is his glory. It's his doing, is God's faithfulness. This is not Kyle and Tina's self. This is the spirit of God and some mighty people that stood in the gap saying, you know what? This is not what God intends for World Changers Church. I see what it is. We're standing in the gap and we are praying. Amen. [00:29:11] And then behind the scenes, we worked it out. We walked it out. We fought by faith. We kept our mouths silent. [00:29:21] We didn't do a lawsuit. Goodness. There's so much we could have done. [00:29:26] But God said, stand and know that I am God. [00:29:31] Amen. [00:29:34] And you know what? He loves all those people, too. And they probably are not the same people that they were. [00:29:43] And some of them could have just came to us and had conversations and a lot of things should have not happened. I'll leave it at that. [00:29:55] But forgiveness. [00:29:57] And even for me, it was this. [00:30:01] Every day I would be in a ball. There were nights that I could not sleep because of the trauma. I would be awake the whole night just praying and begging God, I just want to sleep. I don't take medication. I just want to sleep. I just want to sleep. I'd be awake the whole night. I'd be bald in a court, in the floor, floor, downstairs in my house, on a rug, everyone else sleeping, crying. I would pull up photos of people and I would pray for them and I would bless them. And I would say, lord, help me. Show me if I did wrong what I did wrong. Help them to forgive me if it was me. [00:30:38] Show me my mistakes. Oh, that was the behind the scenes. Amen. [00:30:45] So I know this thing of forgiveness, but now it's not with me every day I don't even think about it anymore. [00:30:54] And so God said, minister, church hurt, church healed. Amen. [00:31:01] So rebuilding trust and unity. I'm going to wrap it up here in just a moment. [00:31:07] Ephesians 4:3 says, make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. [00:31:15] Healing requires building trust. [00:31:18] Maybe you've been church hurt here or somewhere else. [00:31:23] To come into this place is a rebuilding of trust. [00:31:28] It takes time and consistent effort, but the focus should be on Jesus and not just resolving conflicts. [00:31:37] True healing involves restoring relationships and unity in the body of Christ. Amen. [00:31:46] And you are the body of Christ. [00:31:49] Each one of you is a part of it. That's scripture, 1 Corinthians 12:27. [00:31:57] And as for the church, it's God's chosen instrument to bring his kingdom to earth. [00:32:06] And when we allow him to, to heal our hearts, the church becomes stronger and more unified. [00:32:14] The healing of you. [00:32:17] Listen here. The healing of you benefits the whole body. [00:32:27] You being healed benefits the whole body. [00:32:32] It benefits the kingdom. It brings glory to God. [00:32:39] So I'll say this. We need to be committed, to be agents of healing in our churches, to extend grace, offer encouragement and build bridges where there are divides. [00:32:56] You see, we will always be serving in churches and in churches there's fault no matter where you go. I'm sorry to tell you, no matter where you go. They could have, you know, the greatest of buildings, the lights and the better equipment and, you know, three tier deep leadership. But you know what? There's going to be fault somewhere. [00:33:26] And if you remain hurt, if we remain hurt, we'll continue with a long list of churches. Will they hurt me too? Will they hurt me too? The cycle has to be broken. I don't know who I'm speaking to. It could be in podcast land. Amen. But that cycle has got to be broken. [00:33:50] And you need to own your space, knowing that you are worthy, you are equipped, you have everything that you need. The moment that you said, Jesus, I receive you, there's nothing more than another person has. We all have Jesus, and we all need Jesus each and every day. We all are continually liberated by his word each and every day. I'm still not perfect in this realm of church hurt, church healing. I'm still learning so much. [00:34:33] And Jesus said it best. [00:34:37] Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. [00:34:43] Sometimes when we get hurt, the other person that you feel hurt, you may not even know what they did. [00:34:54] It's hard to fathom that. [00:34:57] But trust me, there's times even in my marriage, I'm like, babe, you did this or you didn't do that. What? Babe, I'm sorry. I had this and this and this and this all in one day. But you said, yeah, sometimes we just don't know. We just don't know. [00:35:19] That's why we've got the most powerful thing, and that is our voice to communicate to one another. Amen. [00:35:26] Church hurt is real, but the healing power of God is as well. He wants to take your wounds and turn them into a testimony of grace. Romans 8:28 says, and we know that in all things, that is all things. [00:35:45] Betrayal, slander, accusations, feeling discarded, seeing fault, being hurt. We know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. [00:36:12] We all have been called according to his purpose. But the key for the fulfilment of this verse is that we become lovers of God, that we become lovers of God in our spirit, in our soul, and even in our minds. [00:36:34] Bad things become good for those who love God. [00:36:40] Bad things become good for those who love God. Amen. [00:36:49] We are given to loving Him. [00:36:52] All that we have passed through this life is washed and redeemed in that love. [00:36:59] Bad things become good by the power of God. [00:37:03] So you may ask Pastor Tina, with the church split and some of the things that you stated, what was the good in that? [00:37:11] Well, the good in that was the wow. Moments of only God. Can you do that? [00:37:17] Because when we filed our labor agreement with pretty much Kyle and I on the org chart, because we Just had a split. We wanted to be integral. [00:37:29] Two years later, when it goes to home affairs, the big guy in home affairs contacted our lawyer and said, what's up with these guys? It looks like they're self sponsored. And so we had phone calls, three in fact. This was two years ago. [00:37:45] And we were like, the church has changed. And they said, okay, resubmit. Two years have passed. Resubmit. So we gave a. When we first arrived and now and where we are going, we resubmitted because we had more leadership. [00:38:04] Seven days later we got the approval for the labor agreement. [00:38:11] So the good was just the fact of another aspect of who God is that we can shout from the rooftops, the mountains and the valleys. Because had we never went through any of that we went through, we would have never seen the aspect aspects of God and the faithfulness of God that only he can do. Then we started praying, Lord, fast track to permanent residence. [00:38:39] Well, hallelujah. He has. Amen. [00:38:45] Two years, Two years have been knocked off of our wait time. [00:38:52] Amen. [00:38:55] But can you imagine if the moment that I went on the plane to the US saying, I am so done, if I would have said, yep, honey, we're done. Like, what? Lot's wife looked back, nope, we're going to the place that's so much better, that we have so much more support. Let's go back. Can you imagine? Can you imagine what would have happened? [00:39:25] I don't want to think about it, but I just want to give God glory. Because, yeah, there is hope church. [00:39:36] And I hope when hope is deferred, the heart becomes sick. And my prayer is that hope is restored. You know, we've entered into a new year. There's a revival coming, there's fresh wind coming, There's a fresh, fresh fire coming. And every idol in the body of Christ, including church hurt, needs to be demolished. Because that is not the place that we reside. We reside in the heavenly places. We are seated in the heavenly places. We are a force on this earth to be reckoned with. We are not a wrecking force. Amen. [00:40:19] The body of Christ needs you. The body of Christ needs your gift. The body of Christ needs you healed. [00:40:27] The body of Christ needs you to go out to the world and say, you know what? The church is not like that. I've had people tell me I'm covered in tattoos. I don't want to go to church because I'm going to be judged. I'm like, hello, you just judge me. [00:40:45] Who's to say that me and my church is gonna Judge you. You are judging before you even enter that door. Come to church. [00:40:55] We have to represent the body of Christ and the church. Well, remember, the accuser of the Brethren is Satan. Well, you know what? [00:41:07] I'm gonna pick on somebody. I'm not gonna pick on you, honey. Well, you know what Paddy did? I feel like Paddy's not picked on often. [00:41:14] Well, you know what Paddy did? [00:41:17] Paddy just. You know what? He didn't even include me in that. [00:41:23] Hello, sister in Christ. Did you go to Paddy and say, hey, Paddy, Can I be included in that? [00:41:33] Because we are to provoke one another to good works. Amen. Part two is coming next week. So, Father, Father, Father, Father, Father, thank you for your unfailing love. Thank you for your healing power. [00:41:52] Would everyone stand today? [00:41:57] I don't know what you've been through. I don't know what you're going through. [00:42:02] I don't know. Maybe I've hurt you. Maybe leadership here has hurt you. You know what? And if that's the case, I know. I'm sorry. [00:42:12] I know we are sorry if the body of Christ has hurt you. I say I am deeply sorry that you have went through anything that could have hurt you or affected you. [00:42:27] But today, in this day, is a new mercy. [00:42:32] And, Father, we bring our hurts and we bring our brokenness to you today. [00:42:38] We trust you that you will bind up our wounds and restore our hearts. [00:42:46] Help us, Father, to forgive. [00:42:49] Help us, Lord, to rebuild trust. And help us, Father, to walk in unity as your body, as the most powerful force on this earth. [00:43:01] There's no other realm that can say that we are a body other than your church, other than your churches, other than your kingdom. There's no corporate world. There's no. No anything other than your body, your church. [00:43:23] So, Father, let us focus on your love and grace for one another. And to the world, I thank you, Father, that your grace is sufficient and that all things are possible and that you give grace upon grace. [00:43:39] So I thank you, Father, that you are faithful to walk with us every step of the way. [00:43:47] And let this be the day that we take that first step of healing, of casting aside every weight, of putting our hearts before you and releasing those alts and burdens. I thank you for the restoration. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. And if everyone could keep their eyes shut, maybe you have felt hurt by the church. [00:44:19] And if that's you, we would love to release a prayer with every head bowed and every eye shut. If you could just lift your hand. [00:44:29] If you could just lift your hand. If that's you if you want to say I've been hurt I've been left down I see the hands I see the hands I see the hands. [00:44:44] Thank you for your transparency, Father. We just thank you that we add our faith to these people's faith, Lord. [00:44:57] Father, I thank you that today is a new day. Today is a new year. [00:45:02] I thank you, Father, that you are the great healer. You know every crack, you know every crevice of that heart. You know the situation. [00:45:13] And Father, we lay it before you. [00:45:16] I thank you, Father, that today is a day that they can release it or that they can seek wise counsel, that they can seek pastoral support, but most of all, Lord, that they can lay it down at the altar of you, Jesus, knowing that you love them so. Thank you for covering every hurt, every brokenness with your love and I release the mighty name of Jesus, the spirit of liberty, in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen and Amen.
